They're Here!!!!
My latest YA novel, Living Rough, has arrived! I opened the box yesterday and now need to finalize the book launch(es)!!! Now that I have two books published, I can say it is still just as exciting to receive the next batch...

Upcoming Events
Happily, I will be mingling and meandering around the new library in Surrey on September 24th. Copies of 'Benched' will be on hand and I can answer burning questions or just chat. First Author Visit
I had my first author visit to a class of Grade 7's last week and I had a blast! I talked about how I got started as a writer and about how the idea for 'Benched' was born. The students were so inquisitive and many budding authors asked about the craft of writing. While we didn't get into a discussion of the restorative theme of the novel, we did talk about the hi/lo category and why the book is written more simply. Those who are already great readers understood that it will be a quick read and those who don't always pick up books, hopefully, will be hooked by the story and the slim size of the novel.
