Teacher Quits For $100,000 A Year Grocery Delivery Gig
No kidding, I ran across an article at Money.com about a teacher that quit his job and now makes $100,000 a year delivering groceries. 45 year old Ed Hennessey lives in Orlando and has developed quite an income as a personal grocery shopper. He works as an independent contractor for Shipt, a membership based grocery delivery service owned by Target. Admittedly, Hennessey puts in a lot of hours for his money (the article says he works 60 hours a week), but who would have thought that you could make $100,000 a year grocery shopping!
Full Time Or Part Time
One aspect of this I really love is the flexible hours (and the option to work full time or part time). Also, the requirements are minimal, including the following:
At least 18 years of age.
Valid U.S. driver's license and auto insurance.
A reliable vehicle, 1997 or newer.
Knowledge of produce selection.
Insulated cooler bags.
Ability to lift 40 pounds.
iPhone (iOS 10 or newer) or Android (5.1 or newer) smartphone.
How Much Can You Earn?
I am sure the earnings vary widely like they do with opportunities like Uber, but the Shipt website says drivers average $22 per hour.
Here is a great video of a stay-at-home mom that is working with Shipt

Check Out the New E Factor Diet
Im sure youve had those days where you wake up and scarf down something thats convenient so you can get out the door as fast as possible.
Now it should go without saying that starting your day with foods like doughnuts, pastries, or pancakes is a fat storing NIGHTMARE.
But most folks turn to other so-called healthier alternatives that are nearly just as bad.
Here are 3 of the WORST Foods to Eat in the Morning
Muffins
Most store-bought muffins are giant, which means they can sometimes contain over 600-700 calories that have absolutely NO protein or healthy fats to keep you feeling full and satisfied.
Bagels
Would you sit down and knowingly eat FOUR slices of bread?
Well, MOST bagels have the equivalent of four servings of bread, which will quickly convert into sugar making you store fat and feel lethargic in no time.
Cereals
Over-the-counter cereals are, by far, one of the worst foods for your waistline and your health.
The majority of over-the-counter cereals are empty calories, simple carbs and sugar, cleverly disguised as a healthy breakfast.
There are a few rare exceptions, like some of the cereals in the Ezekiel 4:9 line from Food for Life, but I NEVER eat cereal when Im trying to get leaner.
If you wake up and eat ANY of the above 3 foods to start your day its like being stung by a bee.
Seriously, theyll make you literally swell up, while making you feel fat and bloated the entire day.
They also FORCE your body to depend on sugar all dayinstead of burning fat.
However, there are certain foods that you can eat in the morning that are guaranteed to turn your fat burning switch to ON as soon as you wake up.
Theyre called E-Factor Foods, which are specifically designed to make you look and feel leanerall while holding LESS water.
Youll quickly see why adding these 4 E-Factor Diet Hacks into your day can make you look and feel leaner in less than 24 hours from now:

Shallow Graves: The Hunt for the New Bedford Highway Serial Killer
Eleven women went missing over the spring and summer of 1988 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, an old fishing port known as the Whaling City, where Moby Dick, Frederick Douglass, textile mills, and heroin-dealing represent just a few of the many threads in the communitys diverse fabric. In Shallow Graves, investigative reporter Maureen Boyle tells the story of a case that has haunted New England for thirty years.
The Crimes: The skeletal remains of nine of the women, aged nineteen to thirty-six, were discovered near highways around New Bedford. Some had clearly been strangled, others were so badly decomposed that police were left to guess how they had died.

Does Travel Insurance Ever Make Sense?
Regular readers know that I am a minimalist when it comes to add-on protections like warranties. In recent years, however, I have been opting for travel insurance on my international trips. I have never had a claim until my recent trip to Ecuador (my laptop and cell phone were stolen while I was riding a coach bus). I have to admit I was surprised at what happened when I submitted my claim - watch videos below.
One important aspect of buying travel insurance is to be sure and understand your coverage. The site I personally use is InsureMyTrip.com. The ability to shop various types and levels of coverage and see side-by-side comparisons is extremely useful. There is no one-size-fits-all approach you can take to travel insurance (also, I would not buy your coverage as an add-on when booking your flight or hotel, since you want a policy to cover the entire trip).
While trip cancellation due to illness has been a bedrock feature of travel insurance, there are many more benefit options available. Coverage for driving a vehicle, medical care, emergency medical transport, and theft protection, are a few examples. I can't emphasize enough, however, how important it is for you to thoroughly review the policy you are considering. There are 'loopholes' such as pre-existing medical conditions, the definition of immediate family member, what precise circumstances qualify for reimbursement for the cancellation of a trip, and more.
I am using travel insurance for all of my international travel, but would also consider it for a more expensive domestic trip as well. Have you had a good or bad experience with travel insurance? Share your experience below and we can start a conversation.
