Man Sues Equifax For Data Breach And Gets $8,000 In Small Claims Court
Jim discusses the news report of a man that opted out of the Equifax settlement and instead sued in small claims and received $8,000. Jim also discusses his 1500 mile journey by truck from Florida to New Hampshire and the discussion he had with Libertarians there. Could the big one, the next major earthquake, take place in the midwest and not on the west coast?
How Can The Church Reach The Millennial Generation?
Millennials. It seems the very mention of the word draws equally passionate and polarized responses from society members of all ages. With labels such as The Unreachable Generation, The Me Me Me Generation, and The Worst Generation, it is no wonder that our young people are the most notorious this world has ever seen. But beneath the surface, crises linger which drive an individual to wonder what is really going on within the minds of our youth. Suicide rates among this age group have escalated to an all-time high, while drug and alcohol abuse-related conditions have become top reported killers. Simultaneously, this populace is leaving the church by the scores, while such religions as New Age, Wicca, and Muslimism continue to gain momentum.
Are Millennials really the narcissistic, self-centered, entitled, and lazy collective that they are accused of being, or is there a deeper problem lurking which creates division between this generation and those previous? Are young people of today truly the worst the world has ever seen, or has our modern church missed the opportunity to reach the most cause oriented, activist generation in the history of the world? Furthermore, if the Church were to combine efforts with this powerful, zealous populace, could this usher in the next Great Awakening? These, and many other questions, make up the pages of this book. In Unscrambling the Millennial Paradox, the reader will learn: - The impact of previous years of philosophical and religious evolution, and how this has paved the way for truth to become unhinged for many individuals, - How economic stressors have shaped the generation s financial and domestic practices, - The real reason Millennial s are leaving the church, and what the church can do to reverse this trend before it is too late.

Shocking: How You Could End Up With Just $2 From The $125 Equifax Settlement
The 2017 Equifax data breach exposed the confidential credit files of more than 145 million Americans. Information accessed by the hackers included first and last name, date of birth, Social Security numbers, and in some cases even driver's license numbers. Equifax has reached a settlement with the federal government through a class action lawsuit, but the devil is truly in the details on the deal.
Why You Should Say No To The Equifax Settlement Offer
1. You Are Not Going To Receive $125
The $125 amount was an early estimate based on the anticipated number of claims. At this point, the FTC is publicly stating that people will not receive anywhere near this amount. The amount of money available for financial claims is just $31 million dollars. If even just 10 percent of those affected apply for a share of this money, it would mean a payout of only $2 per person!
2. Why 10 Years Of Free Credit Monitoring Is Equally A Bad Deal
An alternative to receiving a pro rata share of the settlement money is 10 years of free credit monitoring. You have to be kidding, right? I am expected to trust the company that exposed my data in the first place to provide credit monitoring services? Another question on this is why just 10 years? Once your information has been exposed it will be a potential problem for the rest of your life. This is like settling a malpractice claim by allowing the same surgeon to have a do-over on the surgery they botched.
3. You Can Sue In Small Claims Court For Thousands
Going to court can be intimidating, but small claims court is designed for people to represent themselves, much like TV's popular 'Judge Judy.' People are opting out of the Equifax settlement and instead taking them to court for thousands of dollars. Here is a great article to review on just how easy it is to sue Equifax - I Won $8,000 From Equifax In Small Claims Court.
5. Confirm You Were Affected
To be eligible for the settlement (or to sue) you must first establish that you were, in fact, affected by the data breach.

5. How To Opt Out
In order to opt out of the settlement and pursue your own lawsuit, write a letter to the settlement administrator. The deadline is November 19, 2019.

Former Mobster Says Bill Barr Made Secret Visit To Epsteins Jail Before His Death
According to reports over the weekend, former mobster Lewis Kasman said that Attorney General Bill Barr made a secret visit to Epsteins jail shortly before Epstein was found dead in his cell. If this story is accurate, it will certainly ignite a whole new round of conspiracy theories, although they might have a little more credibility this time. Ring of Fires Farron Cousins discusses this.

Chris Cuomo Threatens To Throw Man Down Stairs - Sean Hannity Defends His Actions
A viral video shows CNN's Chris Cuomo threatening to throw a man down a flight of stairs for referring to him as 'Fredo.' In a bizarre twist, Fox News Host Sean Hannity defends Cuomo's behavior (see tweet below). Ironically enough, the 'Fredo' nickname for Cuomo is frequently used by talk show host Rush Limbaugh, a longtime friend of Hannity. For those not familiar with the reference, Fredo Corleone was the weaker of the two sons of the mafia boss in the movie The Godfather II.

Lt. Colonel Robert Maginnis - The Evils Of The Progressive Movement
Progressive Evil confirms that Western humanity as we know it is on a downward spiral thanks in part to cultural Marxism: a social and political movement that promotes unreason and irrationality through the guise of various social justice causes. That ideology deliberately deceives and disarms the malleable, unsuspecting masses and is the tool of contemporary progressives, an evil cabal represented by a stable filled with Democratic Party presidential candidates. Progressive Evil reveals in 19 chapters that:
Modern America is flushing out of its public life much of the good that God created through our founding fathers in exchange for the false promises of the so-called progressive promised land. * The progressives assault on America demonstrates their mental illness and the resulting palpable evil that could make America irrelevant, and therefore absent in the prophetic end times, albeit helpful to Satan in paving the way for the Antichrist. * Demonstrates progressives are dead-set on flushing our constitutional rights speech, faith, bear arms to fit their radical ideology. * Progressives seek to destroy America s key institutions family, education, economy that provide the foundation which made this country great. * They use fascistic actions to destroy American exceptionalism by redefining our cultural ideals: individuality, capitalism, liberty, equality and patriotism. * Discerning Americans must earnestly pray for our country, for our leaders and then become active defending our constitutional rights, our critical institutions and our ideals before our country lands in the ash heap of history.

Escape From Communism - Author Dumitru Sandru
Life under communism is cruel and inhumane. Commit the smallest political infraction, and the secret police will arrest you. The only ray of hope is the West, but getting out from communism is difficult. Communist countries have a Berlin Wall around them. It is a crime to escape by crossing the border illegally, and anyone caught is beaten and imprisoned, sometimes even shot. I was eighteen, and I was living in hell. However, I would rather have died than keep living as a communist slave. This is my story of what happened and how I reached freedom.

4 Reasons Not To Finance A Car At The Dealership
The best option is to pay cash for your next car, but I realize that many people are not in a position to do that. According to Kelley Blue Book, the present average cost for a new vehicle in the United States is more than $37,000 (and this only includes so called 'light vehicles' and not trucks). Whether new or used, apurchasing a car is the second largest purchase most people make (after housing).
Where Should You Finance Your Car?
Most people get their financing at the dealership. The mistake here is not understanding that the largest profit center for an auto dealership is FINANCING, not the profit on the car!
4 Reasons Not To Finance A Car Through The Dealer
1. You can get a better interest rate through a credit union or local bank. A lower interest means lower payments (or less payments overall).
2. If you work out the financing in advance you will know exactly how much you can afford and will not have to make that decision in the heat of the moment.
3. With your own loan in place you can consider other options, such as buying a car in a private sale directly from an owner.
4. You can avoid meeting with the finance rep at the dealership and the sales pitch on credit life insurance, extended warranties, and GAP insurance (they still might take a run at you on some of this, but it will be easier to avoid the meeting altogether since you don't need the financing). You may still get pitched some of this at your bank or credit union, but more than likely with a whole lot less sales pressure.
Why You Should Not Tell The Dealer You Have Your Own Financing Until AFTER You Negotiate The Price
Since financing is the top profit center at most auto dealerships, you don't want to spill the beans on your financing plans until AFTER you have negotiated price. If the dealer knows that you have your own financing they will more than likely not be as flexible on the price (I know this goes against the common myth that cash buyers get the best deal).
Conclusion
There are always exceptions to every rule and that applies here as well. There might be some type of promotional financing that could be a better deal than your local credit union or bank, but that is generally not the case. Maybe the best reason of all to arrange your own financing is that it tends to slow down the buying process so you avoid making an emotional decision. That new car smell can be intoxicating!
