In other news…I’m happy to announce that we (oyin handmade) officially have our products at Whole Foods Harbor East (in Baltimore)!!! It’s only one (so far) but I’m very excited about what’s to come. #staytuned

oyinhandmade:

What’s this? Oyin on the Whole Body shelf at Whole Foods Harbor East in Bmore? Why yes. Yes it is. #tooexcited (at Whole Foods Market)

I’m happy for their success but. Have people seen the drama that ensues that when white folks discover Black hair care products?

I still remember the people who were angry when we first started posting about Oyin on LJ because it wasn’t for their hair. Remember the chick who was deeply offended that the Burnt Sugar Pomade was full of oils?

Fuck the haters.

Youngbadman will always promo black excellence

When I had a hair salon, one of the product distributors would ask me EVERY SINGLE TIME I ORDERED black hair care products if I was POSITIVE that’s what I actually wanted.

I’m amazed any sold at all in my region.

Do you think Deadpool and Ragdoll would get along? If there was ever another DC/Marvel crossover event, I think these two meeting each other would be the #1 thing I would want!

I think they’d try to kill each other within about five minutes.

Deadpool is crude and obnoxious, Ragdoll is polite, even in murder. They’d hate each other instantly.

BUT!

If they survived that first encounter, BESTIES FOR LIFE.
