Does Wonder Woman count as a science hero? I know she is magic and all, especially her origin. But she was also a nurse back in the golden age who invented things like the purple ray.

I never saw her as a science hero, personally.

My splash page for the WONDER WOMAN 75th anniversary special,  One of my favorite pages…was kinda hoping to keep it, but I hope it goes to a good home. Gail Simone is the writer. I did all the art by hand in pen, brush and India ink. This auction ends in ten days.

I’m also selling a very nice page from JUSTICE LEAGUE featuring BATMAN and the classic SUPERGIRL. That auction ends tomorrow.

Someone is going to snap this up and then Star-Blossom is going to hit it big.

Misfit Cookie Pies for National Misfit Day!

I baked up some Charlie-approved goodness for today.

Misfit Cookie Pies

Muffin-sized pies that any teenager could assemble, even those with little-to-no-baking skills.

Store-bought pie crust, cut into circles with a biscuit cutter (but the rim of a glass works, too) & gently pressed into muffin tins that have been coated with cooking spray.

Next, take two chocolate sandwich cookies (I used Newman-O’s) & spread one tablespoon of peanut butter on the top of a cookie, top that with the other (the original recipe also called for an additional spoonful of pb on top of that, but I skipped that step) & place inside the crust-lined tin.

Top with more crust, cut to size & tuck in the edges (cutting out the Misfit logo is optional!) & bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes (time will vary based on your oven).
