Re: Your comments about Catman's hair: You're one of those who liked Superman with long hair, aren't you? ;)

I did, I thought if done well, it could alter the way we think of Superman.

But they just kind of gave him a mullet and didn’t really take advantage of the visual distinctiveness it could have given him.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to talk about this, there’s so much hell going on already, but I feel like I need to get this out. I don’t know what to call what happened.

Can I just ask why this kids name changed quarter way through the story

Cody is a valid nickname for Dakota. His name didn’t change.

The response is correct. We still call him Cody, he prefers Dakota. Most people outside his family know him as Dakota.

Also, what a weird thing to ask.

hey there! "i don't blame him, but ugh" anon from earlier! just wanted to apologize for taking up your time, especially given the context. sorry! i was trying to be helpful but i realize now that it was not the time or the place. i know that you have enoug

It’s okay, no worries, apology accepted and my own extended.

We were still in the grip of the thing and very worried, and it is still hard to totally overlook the idea of someone taking off when another person is being assaulted, even if all they do is call the police or call for help.

I am trying to be understanding about it, and to be honest, it’s a pretty minor thing in the overall story, but to say it reflects poorly on a mom that she is a bit unhappy someone left her son to be attacked…well, we’ll have to disagree. If that sounds like I am not being objective a couple days after the attack, well, guilty as charged, I’m sure.

I haven’t spent any time fretting over it, my son is alive and making a full recovery. That’s about a billion times more important.

What would be your best piece of advice for someone interested in dipping into writing comics? I'm used to writing prose, but I really want to get into the comic world. I've looked at some outlines for script work (especially since I can't draw), but I gue

THOUGHTS: Secret Six "Six Degrees of Devistation"

THOUGHTS: Secret Six "Six Degrees of Devistation":

comicweek:

There is an endearing honesty to Gail Simone’s team, the Secret Six. This is a group of damaged ne’er-do-wells who initially come together as a team of mercenaries motivated largely by the dollar signs dangled in front of them. Surprisingly, they (all) didn’t die and have formed a family for…

Fun read, thank you!
