Her Match Her Mate Her Master!
The re write of my first ever book published, is out on the 3rd may 2018.
This was originally one book which was split into two - His Spoilt Lady & His Defiant Wife. Now they are back together as one book! The plot is the same but it has had elements added into the tale and the mistakes (yes, sadly there were errors - new author etc.) removed.
The exciting new title gives the reader a small idea of what to expect from this epic novel!
It is the tale of an arranged marriage between a young aristocratic Lady, Linnet Wainwright and an American trader, John Foster. He is keen to marry Linnet but she has her heart set upon another gentleman. She is livid when her plans are scuppered and she finds herself wedded to the American. Linnet is whisked aboard ship and they sail away to the New World. However things do not go according to plan. They end up shipwrecked on a beach in Maine, far away from their destination of Boston. Action and adventure, love and passion, fill the pages of this exciting read! OUT SOON!

Winter blues
Personally I always find January and February dark and difficult months and without my writing to get me through the dull cold days, I can tell you I would be feeling very downhearted.
I am writing my first contemporary novel at the moment. Many authors find these easier to write than a historical book but I adore writing historical tales. I enjoy the research that I do for each and every book, often turning up quaint facts about interesting people and events that happened in the past.
A contemporary novel is another beast. The language I would normally use is quite different for starters.
I am sure that once I remember that I can mention mobile phones and computers my writing will start flowing - but I do so miss those flowing skirts, hoops and bustles!

New book is out mid December
I am really pleased with my new cover for The Smuggler's Bride, which is book four of my risque, Georgian, Masterful Husband series. The next book is due to be released the week before Christmas.
Those of you who have read Claudia's story in The Colonel's Bride, will surely remember the obnoxious character, Primrose Latimer.
Book four is her tale and she certainly gets her comeuppance!
The book is set in Cornwall, so if you loved the Poldark books and T.V. series then you are sure to enjoy this 18th century romp, where sea mists and smugglers abound! Stay tuned for more info about release and a cover reveal!

My latest book in my Georgian series, Masterful Husbands has been accepted by my publishers ABCD Graphic design and should be out before Christmas!
Look forward to more mischief and mayhem, set in risque Georgian England!
This time the setting for my novel is Cornwall, a beautiful and in those days remote corner of England. Think Poldark and the closing of Cornish tin mines, although my book is set around smuggling and wreckers which makes for an exciting read!

My latest book Amanda is out to good reviews! This is the sequel but very much a stand alone tale, to Elspeth - Mudlark Waif.
Both stories reflect the Victorian era of change and hypocrisy that abounded at the time. They are most definitely melodramas, hence the title but both tales contain some spicy romance and spanking, de rigeur for women who lived in those by gone days.
I am presently engrossed writing book 4 - The Smuggler's Bride, for my Georgian, Masterful Husband series. This time the tale centers around Primrose Lattimer who appeared in book 3 - The Colonels Bride. She tormented the heroine Claudia, early on in that book, so do look out for that one!
