For all the folks who cared enough to click

I know, I sign up for giveaways, too. And as I noted in an earlier posting, the only thing I've ever won was a box of pretzels from a place called Mr. Chips.

So if you did not win the giveaway for THE LAWS OF GRAVITY, please consider pre-ordering the book while the price is still low. Tablet owners, it's $3.99 on Kindle. Paper book lovers, it's less than $8 on Amazon and B & N.com and even the hardcover is still under $20. (I ordered one myself. I hear it's beautiful to see.)

Most of all, good readers, thanks for caring enough to look for good books, and for clicking when you came to mine. I hope you find it in a library, a friend's house, or in your own collection, and I hope it brings you distraction, comfort, involvement. Books for me have been a life raft.

Hugs from the author.

On Giveaways

The first giveaway of THE LAWS OF GRAVITY is drawing to an end, and I have to admit I'm a bit stunned and more than a little touched by the outpouring of interest.

So I and the nice folks at Amazon Publishers have decided to run at least one more before the book comes out in early May. Therefore, if you didn't win a signed advance reader's book this time, please feel free to sign up for the next giveaway. Good luck!

The only thing I've ever won in my life was a bucket of pretzels from the local mall...

saying hello

This is my new blog at Goodreads. For a while I tried to keep a blog called A Worry a Day, but I found I didn't actually have a worry a day- or at least, not one I wanted to write about, plus I kept forgetting my own password.

I'm hoping this will be easier.

I'll post things I think may be worth reading.
