Book review

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First off I have to say that when I first started reading this book I stopped at page 52 because I got extremely bored. I could only literally read one page in a sitting and even then I had to force myself to finish it. So the after a year of it sitting in my ever-growing "currently reading" pile, I picked it back up and had to force myself to put it down. I even stayed up until 4:30am to finish it. It was a great read. I can't wait to dive into Catching Fire.

Book review

Babe in Boyland Babe in Boyland by Jody Gehrman

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was soo cute. I've read some reviews on it saying how it reminded some of the movie She's The Man so I'm really happy I've never seen that movie so I could enjoy the book for what it's worth. After reading this, I realized that there are two sides to me too. Maybe even more. But I'm definitely different while flirting with guys than I am when just hanging out with my friends. Never knew that. Great read!

Book review

Colin Preston Rocked and Rolled Colin Preston Rocked and Rolled by Bert Murray

My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I tried so hard to finish this book. I couldn't do it. It's not a genre I typically read either. Some of the grammar was bad but to the author's defense, he might have wanted it that way. I hated Jasmine. I knew she was a cheater the minute she was introduced into the story. Karl was a douche and it made me angry Colin couldn't see that sooner. Colin got on my nerves . . . a lot. The way he acted reminded me of a girl. I truly wish I would have enjoyed this book more but I'm not even sure what the plot was . . .

Book review

If I Stay (If I Stay, #1) If I Stay by Gayle Forman

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was such an amazing story. Sad, heart-wrenching, amazing! I read the last few pages aloud to get the full affect of Gayle's writing. Reading aloud brought Mia's struggle out. Tears treatened to spill down my cheeks (I'm not one to cry during a sad book or movie so you know this one was good). I cannot wait to start reading Where She Went.
