Author Spotlights Seraphina Donovan

I have a special treat for you this week. Along with the interview Seraphina Donovan will also share her ideas on The Evolution of the Romantic Heroine. If that wasn't enough of a treat she is also holding a giveaway! Yep, that's right, she will be giving away A copy of Dragons Lair. Leave a comment and she will be picking the winner on Saturday 3/17/12. A special Saint Patricks day treat.
Now get settled in and meet this on outragously talented Lady.

Do you do anything to get you into the zone to write? For me, writing takes place in my head before I ever start putting anything on paper
or screen. The scenes will play out in my head and then after I've tweaked them mentally and got them going in the direction I want, I'll start actually writing. Music is a
big inspiration for me though. I do specific playlists to put myself in a story. Which authors inspire your writing? I love Sherrilyn Kenyon, Lori Foster, Kresley Cole, Hannah Howell. In terms of Erotica, I've been reading a lot of Laurann Dohner and Jayne Rylan. What is your favorite book, character and why? A book that I have read and reread a dozen or more times is "Alice at Heart" by Deborah Smith, and then "A Gracious Plenty" by Sheri Reynolds. Oddly enough they
aren't romance or erotica, but they have beautiful prose. Do you prefer to write erotic or sweet? It depends on mv mood. Somedays I like to write sweet love stories, even literary
stuff. Other days, I like to get my freak on, 101. Which famous person, living or dead, are you drawn to? I've always felt a strange affinity for Ann Boelyn. She was such an ambitious woman, and she paid the ultimate price for going after what she wanted. Also, she was a
woman who understood exactly what she brought to the table. She didn't have the "beauty" of many of the women at court, but she had wit and charm and knew how to
flirt. Where do you see yourself in five years? I hope that I am writing full time. My dream, like so many of us, is to be able to support myself as a writer and not have to keep schlogging away at the day job.        Finish this sentence: I know I've made it when ___________ ? I can quit my day job! Lol. And when gorgeous cover models are approaching me
and asking to be on my covers rather than the other way around. What advice would you give aspiring writers? Just keep writing. Take criticism, use it, make your work better and don't give up. It sounds trite, but that's it. Just keep going. What do you see yourself writing in the future? I'll be doing erotica still. Some more sweet with the HEA endings, and others that
are just about that physical connection. I'll also be writing my historicals and visiting
the world of Regency England as much as I can. If you could have one superpower what would it be and why? I'd be omnipotent. No bad drivers in my way, no lousy internet connections, lush
and gooey brownies that have zero calories and fat and are actually good for you. What time of the day are you at your best to write? I have a full time job and I'm still in grad school. I write whenever I can. Sometimes early in the morning, sometimes late at nights. Sometimes I will spend the
entire day, on the weekend, in my pj's and glued to my laptop just so I don't give in to
temptation and procrastinate. And now for something completely different ... What do you look at first with an attractive man or woman, face, body or smile? It's different with everyone. Some people will have an amazing smile that pulls you
in, with others it's the eyes, or the body, or the brain behind it all. I can say that I have
dated men who were ridiculously attractive and I've dated other men that were not so  much, really, but the bottom line with all of them, was that I had to be able to have a
conversation with them. Explain your perfect day. For me the best days are the ones that don't involve a plan at all. Wake up on your own, no alarm clock. No pressures at all. Lounge around in your pj's and read a book or watch tv. Then just head out and explore. Maybe hit a few antique stores or go to some little out of the way place for lunch. What is the most decadent desert you can't say no to? I love chocolate. In any form. There's a little bakery in the city where I live where
they make homemade truffles that are to die for. Do you have a favorite holiday what is it and what makes it special to you? I love Halloween. It's all fun and no work. Playing dress up, getting to watch scary movies and eat candy. And you get to dress like a total slut without any repurcussions,
except for the hangover, of course.

The Evolution of the Romantic Heroine The world of romance and erotica is changing dramatically. Not all that long ago,
heroines were all virgins, sex was always coerced or forced (at least initially), and they
were always startlingly beautiful, thin, and either filthy rich or dirty poor. She was either
a willful copy of Scarlett O'Hara or a simpering copy of Melanie Hamilton. Virgin or
whore has long been the mantra of literature, even literature written for women by
women. Thankfully, times have changed. In romance novels and erotica today, we find women of all shapes and sizes, all
socioeconomic strata, and any varied level of sexual experience. What we do find
universally now, is that the simpering heroine is a thing of the past. Even the quiet and
shy ones now have an inner diva/sex-kitten/vamp/bad-girl/ass-kicking-woman who can
rescue herself and the hero, if need be. Some are plus sized, some are even (GASP)
older than the hero. Yes, ladies, cougars are on the prowl. .. and I love it. The average
reader is not thin, not perfect, not virginal, and has on occasion, acted like a bitch. She
may also be over the age of thirty, forty or even fifty. Those readers want books about women who are like them, not who illustrate what they can never be ... perfect, or about
what they never want to be again, inexperienced and clueless about their own identity. It's a wonderful feeling to read a book about a heroine whom you identify with on a
personal level. When that heroine manages to save the day and snag the perfectly-
imperfect-and-gloriously-hung hero, it reaffirms our faith and our hope that even though
we're not fairy tale princesses who serenade bunny rabbits and bluebirds we can still
have the happy ending. For me, on a personal level, most of my heroines are either curvy or even a little chunky.
I write them that way because I AM that way, and because I've always struggled to
identify with the super thin heroines who were dainty, delicate and got carried around by
the hero like one of Paris Hilton's purse puppies. Whether it's a past that's less than
perfect, a body that's less than perfect, or an attitude that might benefit from medication
therapy, we owe it to ourselves as writers, and to our readers, to write books about
women who face the same doubts, flaws, and setbacks in life that we do. The key to
writing a compelling book isn't to write a book that's believable, but to write one that
people want to believe. In today's romance and erotica market, the only hard and fast rule is that there are no
rules. Write about the type of people you want to read about and others will follow suit.

I couldn't have written this one better. Like you, I have battled the fact I have a Marylin Monroe body and starved myself most my life to be more like Twiggy, the 60's super modle. It took me untill I hit middle age to be comfotable in my skin. What a waste of time!

Monday Pick Me Up

Anyone for guitar lessons? He can just sit there and play to his hearts content and I would love every moment of it.
I hope everyone had a great week. I want to thank those of you who could make my Birthday chat at The Romance Review such a memorable occasion for me. It was the topper on a wonderful birthday and it was great that you could share it with me. I also want to send cyber hugs to all my wonderful Facebook followers. Wow, in just a years time my friends tripled and filled my page with such wonderful Birthday wishes. It was humbling and exciting. I must be doing something right.

This week you mark your calendars for my Authors Spotlight guest Saraphina Donovan.  On Friday The Romance Reviews will have a Q & A of Dark Passion's Flight. If you answer the question right you will be entered to win a PDF copy of the book. Then on Saturday March 17th I am joining Small Press Blog Hop for more chances to win! I will have the information up later in the week for you to check out.

In other news I am just about finished with the second novella in the Knight's of Excalibur series and I'm very excited about this one. This story is quite a scorcher and looking forward to having it out there for you.
I'm still waiting, (biting my nails here) for reviews to come in for Passion's Flight.

I am busily writing several books, The Summoning is being polished, revised and more scenes are being added to it. In a few months it will be ready to go. I also have another book I'm putting the outline together on called Demon Bewitched that I think you will enjoy.

And I haven't forgotten Zeke's book in the Dark Breed series. I am still tweaking the key points on his book before I sit down to write it all out.

Well I best get to writing. Have a fantastic week!

Author Spotlights Sky Purington

I am honored and thrilled to have Sky Purington as my guest today. If you have never had the opportunity to read her work you're in for quite a treat. I encourage you to buy her books as fast as you can. Her MacLomain Series is wonderful and is loosely tied to Calum's Curse. I know when I pick up one of her books I'm going to be transported into a realm where magic exists, warriors fight against all odds and love is eternal. Here is a small taste of her latest book. And even better, she is holding a giveaway!Sky is offering  Ecopies of both The Victorian Lure (Calum's Curse: Ardetha Vampyre) and The Georgian Embrace (Calum's Curse: Acerbus Lycan) to one lucky commenter. Just leave your email address when you leave a comment. Winner will be announced 24 hours after this is posted.
Is it true love or is the allure just another dimension of the Georgian's embrace? A man with a mission…Paranormal investigator, Devin O'Rourke, is drawn to Isabel the moment he sees her ghostly image in a picture. While searching for proof of her existence, Devin finds himself in another time, danger lurking around every corner. A woman in need of saving…Eighteenth century, Isabel Savol, is on the run. With help from a friend, good fortune finds her sheltered and managing the construction of a house. When a handsome Irishman appears on her Georgian's worksite one day, everything she thought she understood about reality vanishes.Untapped desire ignites between Devin and Isabel as they struggle to stay one step ahead of the time-warping house caught in Calum's Curse and the werewolf determined to finish the legacy it began.
BLURB"I'll get answers out of you eventually, Isabel."Lord, he was persistent. Give him some hope then continue to whittle away. "I am quite sure you will but not this eve." She gracefully smoothed her skirts, lowered her voice—hid behind her lashes. "I'll not ask again. Share with me, Devin. I would really like to know what disturbs you so."Devin's low chuckle warmed her insides. "You think to get answers from me by flirting? Good luck, lass. I invented that method."Isabel's eyes flew to his. Insolence! She almost faltered at the devilish twinkle in his gaze, the languid way his come-hither eyes roamed her face. Indeed, he did flirt well. She squelched the lop-sided grin she felt beginning to erupt. "I see no reason for your secrecy." Isabel again leaned close and whispered in her best co-conspirator tone, "Then you really are a spy."His thick-lashed eyes fell to her lips and he leaned closer as well. "In my own way, that is exactly what I am."Now she was getting somewhere. "Ah, I knew it.""Did you?" His gaze slowly slid down her neck and she'd swear his finger grazed the soft skin. Goose pimples rose on her flesh."Yes, I did." She continued to follow his gaze, could almost feel how he saw her…feminine…enticing. "It makes perfect sense.""Aye." Devin's gaze fell to the swells of her breasts peeking out from the top of her dress. "You found me out."A deep inhale, then he exhaled slowly, his hot breath flaming across her chest. Nipples tightened. Searing warmth flooded between her thighs. Isabel inhaled sharply. His eyes met hers, knowing. How did he do that? What exactly had he done without moving an inch? "What did I find out?" she murmured, her mind swimming in pleasure, relaxed, not nearly as sharp as it had been moments before.A ravishing grin crinkled the corners of his eyes, made enticing sweeps of his dark eyelashes. "That I'm not quite who I seem to be."

Got your attention? Come and sit in a nice comfy chair and meet this wildly talented author.
Do you do anything to get you into the zone to write?
Absolutely.  I wait until my six year old super hyper son is asleep then I retire to my office, light a 'warm apple pie' scented candle, tune into Pandora's New Age channel and off we go!

 Which authors inspire your writing?
Honesty? I have now made it a point to NOT let any other author inspire my writing. I was an avid reader and reviewer for years. I stopped both. I needed to find myself… find my voice. As you can imagine, I was becoming too influenced by other writers and my critique partners were 'red flagging' my work. Yes, I still read the occasional story but spend most of my spare time watching documentaries with my son. They are so inspiring! We're both addicted. J

What is your favorite book, character and why?
I could never pinpoint just one book or character. I have so many favorites!

Do you prefer to write erotic or sweet?
I like and value both.  Truth told, my work has become much hotter as the years have gone by. I can't help myself. I think I left 'truly sweet' behind in my twenties if indeed I ever wrote it. *winks*

Which famous person, living or dead,  are you drawn to?

I like this question. Hmmm. I would have to say Robert Frost. Mainly because the farm at which he wrote some of his most famous poems is two minutes down the road from me. As he often wrote of nature, I find myself looking around and seeing things as he did. The trees, rivers, etc. In addition, he was my husband's grandfather's cousin, so there are pictures of him standing in my living room years and years ago. Pretty neat!

Where do you see yourself in five years?
A proud mom of an eleven year old boy. And of course, ridiculously successful.  Yep, I've gone Indie and I intend to shine! Translation… if I continue to touch readers and make them happy, that's all the 'success' I need.

Finish this sentence: I know I've made it when_______________?
I can promote fellow authors and they get a ton of sales in one day. Sadly enough I think it sometimes takes a really well-known voice to get lots of books flowing.

What advice would you give aspiring writers?
Simple. "Don't ever give up. Know that you're fabulous and write what's in your heart. Picture what you want and make it happen. Period."

What do you see yourself writing in the future?
More time-traveling Highlander tales. They're in my blood. And, brace yourself, I intend to take a crack at Sci-fi romance/erotica.

If you could have one superpower what would it be and why?
This is a no-brainer. The ability to communicate telepathically.

What time of the day are you at your best to write?
Anytime after 7 PM EST. I live for the night!

And now for something completely different…

What do you look at first with an attractive man or woman, face, body or smile?
Can I add to this? Because I always look at the eyes first, then the lips, then the face as a whole. The smile and body are add-on's.
Explain your perfect day.
Easy. On Sunset Lake in my hometown, Hampstead, cruising around in my Dad's boat with my family. A warm summer afternoon with the sun shining overhead. Eventually, we'd throw anchor and whip out a picnic lunch. We'd eat, laugh and talk. My son would throw half the food to the ducks. It was so perfect.
I'll admit, Dad always helped make that perfect. It won't be the same without him this year. But I'm getting my boating license and we'll be out there FOR him.

What is the most decadent desert you can't say no to?
A six-inch tall chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling. Don't forget the whipped cream topping and chocolate jimmies.  Yum!!!!

Do you have a favorite holiday what is it and what makes it special to you?
As a paranormal writer you'd think it would be Halloween but no, I truly love Christmas. It possesses magic and I'm always a sucker for good ol' fashioned magic.

What key words describe you best?
Determined, Goal-oriented, Creative, Realist, Spiritual, Caring

Author Spotlights Tracy Kitts

Today's Spotlight shines on Author extraordinaire Tracy Kitts. If you like Paranormal it gets no better than this. If your new to the genre I can't think of a better author to check out. Here is a taste of her latest work.
Blurb: Katherine has had a hard timefinding work, mostly because she's a vampire. Turns out, people aren'tclamoring to work with the undead. She goes to the massive theme park, NotteOscura, as a last resort. What Katherine doesn't realize is, there's a lot morewaiting for her than just a job.
Excerpt: It was late January and therewas still a chill in the air, even in Florida. I'm not sure if it was thewarmth coming from inside or fate that made me walk into the main arena thatnight. The air was filled with the scents of cotton candy and lots of liquor.Needless to say, Notte Oscura was for the twenty-one and over crowd.
I hadn't taken in any of theattractions on my previous visits, so I had no idea what I was walking into, orwhy most of the women in the crowd reeked of sexual arousal. I heard the crackleof electricity, and then I saw him. He was well over six feet tall and stooddirectly in the center of the stage. He was stripped to the waist and though heman had many scars, they did not distract from his beauty. His head was downand mounds of long, black hair trailed over his chest. It looked like thebeginning of a live S&M show. His arms were bound to what appeared to beenormous antennas, the way he was turned showed off the well sculpted musclesof his arms. It also revealed what looked like a completely metallic rightelbow. He twitched slightly and lightning arched between the polls and fromnumerous other places around the stage. As the flashes of light and crackle ofelectricity came to a peak, he tossed back his hair and with a primal yell, broke free from his chains.
He smiled. The crowd went wildand in that instant, looking at that smile, I knew I was lost. The lightningstopped and with a dramatic flair the tall man slipped into a cloak.
"My name is Frank, and I'll beyour host this evening. Welcome to Notte Oscura."
The crowd cheered again and Itook an involuntary step forward. Though he used his hair to cover the rightside of his face, I could tell he had another scar there. I was trying to get abetter look when someone pinched my ass. I can think of few things that piss meoff more. I reached behind, using my superior speed to grab the pincher by thewrist. I was a bit surprised to feel fur, but that didn't stop me. I twistedthe arm with a violence born of the frustration of my night and locked hiselbow in place, taking the werewolf to the floor with a pain-filled howl. Thisall happened just as Frank said, "Please allow me to introduce…" His wordstrailed off as the spotlight hit us. "Our new werewolf tamer!"
Frank began to clap and thecrowd soon joined him.
"You're hurting my arm," thewerewolf growled, though he was careful to keep his voice fairly low.Obviously, he didn't want the crowd to hear.
"I should break it," I said, pushing down harder to emphasize my words.
He yelped again, but I let himup. He ran onto the stage, snarling and growling on all-fours. With a gesturefrom Frank, I followed.

You can find out more aboutTracey H. Kitts at www.traceyhkitts.com
I was able to corner this very busy lady for an few moments to answer a few questions. So grab a seat and meet Tracy Kitts.Doyou do anything to get you into the zone to write? Sometimes I do and othertimes, I have to take advantage of the few minutes I have. Ha. Ha. If I havethe opportunity, I love to listen to some music before I start to write. Mostdays though, all it takes is a good cup of coffee.
Which authors inspire your writing? I hope Ipick up a little bit from every great writer I read. Honestly, there is no onewriter that inspires me. It's a love of storytelling that keeps me going. WhenI read a great book, regardless of the author or genre, I think to myself, "Ishould get started on my next book!"
Whatis your favorite book, character and why? It'sprobably a cliché by now to say so, but my favorite character and book (series)of all time is Harry Potter. It was a story I could get into with charactersthat I still love. Plus, it stretched my imagination, like yoga for mycreativity.
Doyou prefer to write erotic or sweet? I never thought I would, but I DO prefer erotic romance. I try to make my love scenes honest, frank, andstill sexy. I don't like to read or write straight up vulgarity. It all dependson the circumstances and the characters personality as to what language is usedover all.
Whichfamous person, living or dead, are you drawn to? Dracula, the real one. I just can't help myself.I have to agree with you on this one, Vlad Tepes was a fascinating man who lived in tumultuous times.
Wheredo you see yourself in five years? In five years, I seemyself still writing, still loving it, and making enough money to pay off mybills. Ha. Ha. Hey, you gotta dream big, right?
Finishthis sentence: I know I've made it when_______? I know I've made it whenpeople hear "paranormal romance" and think "Tracey H. Kitts."
Whatadvice would you give aspiring writers? You can do it! Keep apositive attitude and be polite to those who offer advice, even if you feel itis bad advice. Always be a professional.
Whatdo you see yourself writing in the future? I see myself writinglots more kick-ass paranormal romance. It's what I love. And I love reading them.Ifyou could have one superpower what would it be and why? I lovethis question! I have spent many hours pondering this myself. I think (aftermuch debate) that I would want some sort of Dr. Xavier mind powers. That's thebest way to sum it up.
Whattime of the day are you at your best to write? Any timeI get peace and quiet, honestly. I don't have a preference of time. I'vewritten some great scenes in the middle of the night as well as first thing inthe morning.

Andnow for something completely different…

Whatdo you look at first with an attractive man or woman, face, body or smile?  Firstglance, it's the body (over all), second glance, the smile, third, hands. Then,I'll probably look back at the smile if he has nice lips.
Explainyour perfect day. Easy.Getting to finish writing a great book, spend time with people I love(including my dog), and lose 5 pounds. LOL The only thing that could make thatbetter is maybe at the end of the day leaving for a well-deserved vacation.
Whatis the most decadent desert you can't say no to? Gooey chocolatebrownies.
Doyou have a favorite holiday what is it and what makes it special to you? I havealways loved Halloween. I get to dress up and have fun without anyone callingme a freak for my choice of clothing. There's candy, parties, and scary movies.Plus, you don't have to worry about buying anyone a gift or cooking a turkey. What's not to love? My favorite also, I love everything about it and the spooky movies are just the topper on a perfect holiday.Whatkey words describe you best? Fiery,fun-loving and warped. Thank you so much for being on my blog I loved getting to know you and I'm sure my readers are just as thrilled as I am.

"Yeah, I've been accused of that before," he repliedgiving her a slow smile. Her arched brows angled down in a frown. "No, I meanI think you are here for me." "Any other time, sweetheart, but this is hardly theplace for a conversation. We need to get out of here fast before some real badguys come back here.""Yes, it is not safe here. Let's get out ofhere."She pulled back from him. Her voice brushed over himlike velvet, yet her words rang with steel. "I am quite capable of taking careof myself. Just get out of here now. I will not be the cause of more deaths." "I know how to handle myself, so don't worry yourpretty little head about it," he purred, giving her his best seductive smile. He watched those gorgeous eyes narrow withirritation at him. "My pretty little head? You just didn't say that to me didyou? Of course you didn't. Because if you did that would mean I was dealingwith a real imbecile. No, I take that back. I would be talking to achauvinistic, egomaniacal jerk who had the IQ of a rock.""Wow, a rock huh?" His eyes narrowed, all thoughtssexual dissolving in an instant, "Who the hell are you, lady?" He felt histemper rise, never a good sign when his cat prowled just under his skin.. "I'vebeen called worse things in my life, and though I would love to stand here andargue with you, I just don't have that kind of time, so if you don't mind, moveyour ass.""I have never met a more disagreeable person in allof my life," she huffed."That life will be very short and painful if wedon't get the hell out of her. Now!""I just so happen to know this area very well and Idon't need to be saved," she snapped back at his abruptness. Moving swiftlyaway from the burning bodies and out to the main path. They walked for sometime in a strained silence stretching between them, tension spiking betweenthem until she blurted out the first thing that came to mind. "Are you alwaysthis… exasperating?""Baby, that's my middle name," he drawled. "Now getthat pretty little ass moving.""Do you have to use such base language? Honestly, itshows a lack of intelligence." she grumbled as he marched her out of thesettlement to a small overgrown trail."Didn't your mama ever tell you it's dangerous tojudge a book by its cover? It may just take your head off," he advised drylypicking up the pace. "By the way, do you have a name or should I just call youpain in the ass?""Anyone ever tell you you're a jerk?" "Every minute of every day." He chuckled. "Yourname?"She huffed out an irritated breath. "I am Doctor Navarone, Kyra to my friends, which by the way you are not."
Have a great week and I look forward to hearing from you.

Authors Spotlights CR Moss

I am so pleased to introduce you to the next talented author in my Author Spotlight series. Not only is the woman a gifted storyteller I am proud to call her one of my personal friends. So please get settled in and enjoy.
Do you do anything to get you into the zone to write?~ Sometimes I take a bath, light incense, read or listen to music. Sometimes I do a combination of those things depending upon how stuck I am or how deep into my writing I want to go.
Which authors inspire your writing?~ I've been heavily inspired by Stephen King, Anne Rice, Clive Barker, then Jude Deveraux. Now I'm enjoying books by Erin Kellison, KC Klein, Liz Crowe, amongst others.
What is your favorite book, character and why? ~ I'm working on an urban fantasy series (a re-do of a previously published line of books) and in the series there's a character named Ash. He's a debonair devil. Pretty charming. And, gorgeous to boot. Swoon worthy.

Do you prefer to write erotic or sweet?~ It depends what mood I'm in and what the story calls for. Or what I've written more of in a short period of time. If I've written a lot of erotic, then I lean toward preferring sweet. If on the sweeter side, it's opposite.
Where do you see yourself in five years?~ I'm on national bestseller lists, can find my books in brick and mortar stores along with the popular online bookstores and can support the lifestyle I want via my writing career. I'd love to be able to accomplish this in less than five years though. ;)
Finish this sentence: I know I've made it when_______________?~ Like I said above, I've made it when I'm on national bestseller lists, can find my books in brick and mortar stores along with the popular online bookstores and can support the lifestyle I want via my writing career.
What advice would you give aspiring writers?~ Learn the mechanics of the craft, especially grammar, and apply it to your stories. It'll help when it comes to being accepted and when you go through the editing process. Also, learn the business side of writing and start marketing yourself early, before your story is accepted actually. That's something I wish I had known.
What do you see yourself writing in the future?~ I'm hoping to focus more on horror, thrillers and urban fantasy along with the contemporary and paranormal romance stories I write.
If you could have one superpower what would it be and why?~ I'd want to fly. It would save lots of travel costs and I could skip the airports and germ infested tubes.

What time of the day are you at your best to write?~ I'm finding that my muse likes to talk to me at night. Which is all right considering I'm normally suffering from insomnia anyway.
And now for something completely different…

What do you look at first with an attractive man or woman, face, body or smile?~ Face, body then smile.

Explain your perfect day.~ It's a beautiful sunny day with only a few fluffy white clouds dotting the deep blue sky. I'm at a body of water, preferably at an empty beach but a pool will do, laying out, reading a great book, listening to some awesome music, and maybe doing some writing, too.

What is the most decadent desert you can't say no to?~ Haagen Dazs Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream

Do you have a favorite holiday what is it and what makes it special to you?~ This paranormal, horror, romance writer loves October – the sights, the smells, the cool after summer's horrid heat and all the fun horror movies and ghost stories that abound on television and in the theaters. Plus Halloween is right around the corner. I love Samhain (pronounced "sow-en" & refers to the daylight portion of the holiday), the Wiccan New Year (November 1st), my time for meditation and reflection. It's a time to wrap up the old and prepare for the new in one's life. It's also a time to honor those who have passed. Plus, the air has grown crisp and cool, though here in Las Vegas it's still warm enough that I can get away with wearing shorts for a little while longer. Certain trees are covered in glorious color. There are sections in some developments that are just beautiful to drive through. The stars and planets seem brighter in the night sky, while the harvest moon shines in brilliant orange.
What key words describe you best? ~ Funny; loyal; honest/blunt… Shannan, since you know me, would you like to add anything?
*Oh yeah, you forgot sensitive, loving and observant. :) Give me an opening and I'll take it every time. Lol!*

Blurb:
A blind date. A hot tropical evening. She'll be someone he can't forget. He'll fulfill her ultimate fantasy.
Gwendolyn Tramonto is stunned to learn her cousin set her up with sex on the beach and it's not the drink. But after a several year dry spell of no relationships, no dates…no sex, Gwen decides to take her cousin up on her offer and go out on the blind date. For once, she'd like to indulge in a fantasy, be wined and dined instead of the other way around, and if she and the man ended up in bed together, that would be a nice bonus.
Evan Cadell is looking forward to the date his uncle arranged for him through an exclusive matchmaking service and taking a one night break from work, life and all its demands. From Gwen's profile, Evan knows what her fantasy is and believes he's the man who can make it come true.
But will one night in paradise be enough to satisfy their desires?
