Pick Me Up Monday

Happy Monday All Hope everyone is ready for the week. Here's a little something to pick up your day.  News! I've just got word that Dark Hunter, A Dark Breed Enforcer novella will release in June through Evernight Publishing! If everything goes as planned Dark Desire will be only a few months behind the release date. Things are heating up as the war escalates between the Enforcers, fares and the Preservation Society. The poor guys have their hands full since they are being attacked on both sides. Yet, they stand firm in their attempts to protect both the dark breeds and humans. The novella has a new twist which sets the stage for the future stories. I also hope to have a new paranormal historical out in the fall and can't wait to open this world up for you. I'll be introducing you more to the world and characters in the following months. It's hard to believe we are almost five months into 2013 and still so much work to do!  No rest for the wicked or the weary, lol! And on that note, I had better get back to work. Pick Me Up Monday-Blog Tour Starts Wednesday!

I so love this pic. I always loved Phantom of the Opera and the goth element is so perfect in this.  Well, my Blog Tour for Knights of Excalibur starts this week, Woo hoo! I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.  I'm doing final editing on Dark Hunter and will have that to my publisher this week. This is a short novella set in the Dark Breed Enforcer world and hints on the direction my series will be going in. Zeke's book Dark Desire is coming along quite nicely and working hard to get this out for you all in a few months.I also am working on a historical paranormal on Dragon Shifters which I will be self publishing and will hope to have it out to you in a few months as well. Yeah, kind of busy here as you can see. Sunday was a crash and burn for me as my muse decided to take the day off. Not a natural state for a workaholic like me. But it's business as usual with both these books in process and filling in my third book The Summoning:Rise of the Sentinels, which I hope to have out this winter.  Well, got lots to do so better get at it. Have a productive week and I will be posting my Blog Tour schedule on Wednesday.Until next week.

Pick Me Up Monday-Blog Tour!

Happy Monday!Drew here promises to make your week a bit easier to handle. He sure is easy on my eyes and gives me a smile to face my week.
I have been busy getting ready for my blog tour, which starts next Wednesday. Six blog posts and seven interviews so far and waiting to see if I have a few more stragglers coming my way. There will be plenty of giveaways so check back. I should have the schedule up for you by then. They did a wonderful job on the graphics, and the complete trilogy is going on tour which I can't tell you how thrilled I am about that.
  Because of the upcoming tour it sent back my work on the Dark Hunter, A Dark Breed Enforcers novella, but I should have it done and submitted in just a week or two. Then back to Zeke's book Dark Desire. I also will be getting out my first historical paranormal out by summer. I'm very excited about it since this is not only my first historical, but the first outing in the self-publishing world. I'm looking forward to getting it out to you all. 
If all goes well there will be many more historicals coming, but have no fear I am still writing paranormals set in contemporary times as well.

Pick Me Up Monday -My Organized Chaos System to Life

Happy Work Week! As everyone starts their week with their list of things to accomplish- even if it is just to survive the day- and you have a clear picture of what your up against. Here is a pic which might perk you up a bit as your list grows longer. I don't make lists, never have. I blame it on my piscean nature. Like my work space my brain works in an organized chaos which makes my fellow Virgo's cringe in horror. The fact I'm a triple water threat with a Pisces sun, Scorpio moon, and Cancer as my rising, well I take going with the flow to a whole new level. In other words, Organization is a learned art for me. Even though I started writing as a Plotter, with every thing done in graphs and charts I soon tired of it finding my writing too stilted. I flipped totally the other way doing what is called panster. In essence, writing by the seat of my pants with no idea where the story would lead me. Didn't work to well for me either. I found the delicate balance between plotter and panster. Thus...organized chaos was born :) I start with a basic concept, a filled out bio for each pivotal character in the book and go with it. Hey, it works for me, lol! This is how the Dark Breed Enforcers and Knights of Excalibur were born. And this leads into my segue, (see, organized chaos in action here.) on recent news front I have a big blog tour coming up in April for Knights of Excalibur. I kick things off with my tour on April 17th going through to June 12th. On April 18th I'll be guest blogging on Book Boost and yes, I am doing a giveaway of the latest release The Kings Lady to one lucky commenter.  On the Dark Breed Enforcers I am finishing up a delightful novella set in my Dark Breed world that has an interesting ending you may enjoy. Remember Mari? the vampire owner of the Enforcers favorite hang out The Asp? Well she has a story to tell that opens up more details about this world as well as first look at one of my characters mates.  After Dark Hunter I hope to finish Zeke's book, Dark Desire soon after. This takes up where Tegan's book finished. I am also working on the fourth book in the series. Not telling you who the character is yet, but by the time Dark Desire is finished you will figure it out.  I'm also working on a historical Dragon shifter book which is filling out nicely and The Summoning which I am hoping to have done in a few more months.How am I doing so many at the same time? Again, it's organized chaos at it's finest. When I need to work out something in one WIP I click on another and work on it until I come to a stopping point and go back to the original one I was working on or to another story. How do I keep everything separate? Ah, easy. I have the bios of all my characters on my desk where I just flip through them as I work on their stories. Chaotic?Damn right and works for me very well. Not that I recommend it to anyone else, it's just my way of working through things.And now it's back to my delightful disorganized, organized mess. Yeah, a bit of an oxymoron statement and fits me to a tee. Hope you get all those goals for your week checked off this week and we will talk next week.

WIP-Wednesday

 Welcome to another snippet from The Summoning: Rise of the Sentinels. Catlin is getting way over her head when one kiss from Lucien has her wanting so much more.        Her arms reached up to wrap around his neck as his pressed her tightly against him, his hands cupping her ass as he lifted her up off her feet his tongue pillaging her mouth. The hard ridge of his erection ground into the flesh of her stomach only making her hotter by the contact. Her fingers speared through his thick silky hair as she held him to her like a drowning woman and he was her life preserver. He broke the kiss his breathing as fast and rough as hers, he slid her down his hard body and stepped away. The absence of his body made her want to cry out with loss and she bit down on her lip to keep quiet and her pulse thrummed in her ears.      “I’m sorry Catlin that should never have happened.” He spoke in a husky voice that sent tremors through her.      She could feel moisture pool between her thighs as need hammered into her refusing to cool down. It took all her control to keep from going to him, rubbing against his length. She had never experienced need like this. She wanted him with an intensity she never before encountered and it scared her more than a little. That fear enabled her to reign in the crazy attraction she held for him and she looked up into the cold blank mask that was once again firmly in place on his handsome face.

Happy Monday!This yummy pick came to me via one of my subscriptions and after I got my tongue back in my mouth I had to share. Now this would have been quite an awesome birthday present, but I fear I would have worn him out Lol!  After a very busy birthday weekend I'm back at work. Thank you everyone for your well wishes, I truly appreciated them and am grateful to all of you wonderful readers and authors who took the time to say hi.  Right now I'm finishing a short read which is in the Dark Breed world, revolving around the Asp owner Mari and you will have a short peek at the woman who will prove to be quite a challenge for Temple Fox. Due to trademark reasons the series is now called Dark Breed Enforcers. I am also working on books three and four of the series and hope to have them out this year. No idea of the dates of release as of yet. Book three is called Dark Desire and is Zeke's story followed by Cody's, still untitled at this time. So all of you out there who love my cocky Cajun your book is coming! In between those two books I'm editing The Summoning and getting ready to send it out for submission. Hope to have it ready in the summer and I also have another short historical paranormal coming your way. This week I have another edition of WIP-Wednesday with a special blog hop coming on Sunday the 17th so Pick Me Up Monday will be preempted next week.  I will check in with you after the hop and give you the low down on all the news then. Have a wonderful week
