Any Day Now
Hello everybody, Sue here with my first blog post on Goodreads, coming to you from the wilds of Northumberland. My publishers, The Book Guild, tell me my book The Rewilding of Molly McFlynn has arrived at their warehouse, back from the printers and will be ready to send out any day now!
As a debut author, I cannot wait to open the door to that delivery, open the box, do the obligatory unboxing video and hold my book in my hand. My publishers tell me it will have shiny foil on the orange parts, which apparently is a big deal in publishing.
It's very busy in the run-up to the publication date on 28th October, with book signings and events being arranged locally here in the North of England. My local libraries are on board, and everyone, friends, family, the local press and bookshops are being so supportive.
I cannot wait for you all to meet Molly. As Ann Coburn, author of Glint says,
We all need a Molly in our lives. Brave and impetuous, with an honest, distinctive and timely voice, this girl is the real thing. I loved getting to know her.
