FALLOUT Series Slated for a 5 or 6 Season Run
Fallout brought ghouls, vault dwellers, and the Brotherhood of Steel to Prime Video to craft one of the best shows of 2024. But just like the video game franchise, its story did not end after just one installment. The hit adaptation is returning for season two. Who is coming back for more post-apocalyptic wasteland fun? And where will we meet up with them this time?
Recently, the series received a season two release window (December 2025) and a season 3 renewal (wooo!!). But how long will Prime Video’s Fallout ultimately run for? Star Aaron Moten has an idea. He shared at Comic Con Liverpool, “When I signed on to do the series, we would have a starting point and they gave me the endpoint. And that endpoint hasn’t changed. But it is Season 5, 6 type of endpoint… We’ve always known that we were gonna take our time with the development of the characters.”

That’s what we like to hear. Of course, there’s no guarantee Fallout will reach the season five or six mark. It’s hard out there for TV shows these days. But given its season three renewal, it’s already halfway home. We can’t wait to see what’s next for the series.

Fallout Season 2’s Plot
Prime VideoUnlike the video game side of the franchise, which follows new figures with each installment, Fallout season two on Prime Video will be sticking with the same characters and continuing their story.
They will be moving to a new place, but it’s one gamers know well. Season two is officially moving to New Vegas. Not only was that the site for one of the series’ best games, it’s where Kyle MacLachlan’s Hank MacLean headed in the season one finale. He flew off to find his unknown boss after his daughter learned the truth about his work for Vault-Tec, the company that destroyed the world.
Oh yeah, and we’re definitely getting Deathclaws.
Behind-the-Scenes
Prime VideoFallout on Prime Video comes from executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Graham Wagner, and Geneva Robertson-Dworet. Wagner and Robertson-Dworet also serve as co-showrunners.
Season two began production in December 2024.
Fallout Season 2’s CastKyle MacLachlan isn’t the only character who remembered the before times returning to Fallout. The Ghoul (nee Cooper Howard) is getting “back in the saddle,” too, as Walton Goggins is riding in for more wasteland vengeance. Co-star Ella Purnell is also coming back as the no-longer-naive Vault Dweller Lucy MacLean. Moisés Arias is expected to rejoin her as Lucy’s brother Norm. And Aaron Moten will reprise his role as Maximus, new hero of the Brotherhood.
Many season one supporting characters are also expected back. (Leslie Uggams and Johnny Pemberton have already made comments all but confirming their returns.) One confirmed newcomer we know is joining the show in a recurring role is Macaulay Culkin. Prime Video has not revealed his character officially. Initial reports only say he’s playing a “crazy genius-type.” In Fallout, that will make him pretty normal.
Fallout Season 2’s Release Date
Prime VideoFallout season two does not yet have a release date. But it might be sooner than you think. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner said they are “going as fast as we possibly can” to get the show back on the air. They also said a lot of the “heavy lifting” is already done because they “have sets, assets, visual effects” from season one already built. “We are hitting the ground running this season,” they said. “We’re going to be pedal to the metal to get season two out as fast as humanly possible.”
Fallout season two is officially announced to arrive in December of 2025.

Pedro Pascal’s Joel Miller Returns to THE LAST OF US in Episode 6 Trailer
Pre-season trailers for The Last of Us season two featured lots of scenes between Joel and Ellie. Some looked sweet. Others looked…not great. Then, in episode two (HUGE SPOILER ALERT), Abby stuck a broken golf club in Joel’s neck, killing him before we got to see many of those moments between him and Ellie. Now we know how and when we finally will. After Pedro Pascal’s character made a surprise “return” at the end of episode five, the show teased a flashback-heavy sixth episode. It promises to reveal why Ellie wasn’t speaking to Joel before he died.
Season one of HBO’s The Last of Us gave us an all-time great bottle episode. “Long, Long Time” showed how Frank and Bill found both love and purpose in a dystopian wasteland. It was a moving episode that served as the catalyst for Joel and Ellie’s relationship. Ahead of season two, showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann revealed we’d be getting another bottle episode. However, they said it would be very different. With just two episodes left in the season, we now know episode sixth will fulfill that promise. We also know how it will differ. We’re sticking with the show’s two main characters this time.
The trailer for The Last of Us episode six focuses entirely on Joel and Ellie. It starts off sweet, with some very loving interactions. It then quickly gets intense, as things between the two quickly deteriorate.
HBOThis episode six trailer for The Last of Us season two might not tell newcomers much beyond the fact that we’re going to finally get some answers as to why Ellie was ignoring Joel before his death. But fans of The Last of Us Part II will recognize certain moments adapted straight from the video game. That’s why they know, just like in season one, The Last of Us is going to deliver an emotional bottle episode that reframes the story.
HBOJust as importantly, episode six of The Last of Us season two is going to give us one more chance to spend time with Pedro Pascal’s Joel Miller. We know he can be a real hard ass, but that’s exactly why we love him. Hopefully, nothing about this flashback episode changes that!

Madonna Teams with Shawn Levy for Netflix Limited Series Based on Her Life and Career
A few years back, pop music icon Madonna announced she was writing and directing a biopic of her own life story, with help from Juno’s Diablo Cody on the screenplay. But that project ultimately never went anywhere. But it appears that, in traditional Madonna fashion, she’s just found a way to reinvent it. According to Deadline, Madonna and Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy are producing a limited series for Netflix based on her life. Ozark actress (and future Silver Surfer) Julia Garner is reportedly still in talks to play Madonna. However, no deals have been finalized yet.
Warner Bros. RecordsWhen she was writing the screenplay, Madonna asked fans online if the project should be a movie or a series. Fans overwhelmingly said “series,” because her life and career span too many years for a two-hour movie. And it looks like she listened. There’s certainly enough for a season of TV. For years, every new Madonna album came with a new pop culture controversy. From shocking America with “Like a Virgin” on the first MTV VMAs, to the Pope excommunicating her from the Catholic Church over “Like a Prayer,” to publishing her book of erotica, aptly titled Sex. And that’s all just in the first decade! And then there are all the famous romances, from Sean Penn, to Prince, to Warren Beatty, to Guy Ritchie. Of course, her years as a fierce LGBTQ ally and AIDS prevention advocate must factor in as well. It’s all too much for one film.
Shawn Levy’s involvement may seem surprising, but it shouldn’t be. Madonna almost famously never licenses her music for films and television. But Stranger Things, which Levy produced, included “Material Girl” in season three. And her iconic hit “Like a Prayer” played over a key moment in Deadpool & Wolverine. When this project was still a feature film, Madonna herself planned to direct it. It’s still unclear if she plans to direct the mini-series, but we could see her at least directing some episodes herself. She once announced the movie version would carry the title Who’s That Girl, after one of her ’80s hit songs. But with a project that covers over forty years of her career, if she were to name it after one of her songs, may we suggest Live to Tell instead?

CRITICAL ROLE Unveils New DAGGERHEART Miniseries This Month
We don’t need to tell you how popular Critical Role is. Name another show that started as a group of friends playing Dungeons & Dragons that has spawned full-length animated series. (You maybe could, but Critical Role did it first.) It’s so much more than a show; it’s a gaming empire! Case in point, Darrington Press, Critical Role‘s publishing arm, has developed Daggerheart, a new, exceedingly flexible system akin to D&D, which fans have seen in action in various CR one-shots. But now you get to see it in action for eight whole episodes! The Daggerheart miniseries Age of Umbra is coming at the end of the month!
The eight-episode series, with Game Master Matt Mercer, will premiere May 29 on Critical Role with players Ashley Johnson, Laura Bailey, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, Taliesin Jaffe, and Travis Willingham. You know, the gang. The Session Zero episode will air on May 22.

Watch Daredevil Brooding in the Rain for 10 Hours in Marvel’s Latest ASMR Video
Marvel seems to be really getting into the whole ambiance video/ASMR thing lately. Remember that video the company released recently of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine just breathing heavily and staring into the camera? Well, there is a new one that is slightly less off-putting. Via the official Marvel YouTube channel, there’s a 10-hour Daredevil video of rain sounds and city ambiance for great ASMR vibes. Charlie Cox’s Devil of Hell’s Kitchen jumps on a roof in the classic “superhero landing pose,” and turns his head directly at the camera. All while thunder sounds off, and rain hits the busy New York streets.
The video says Daredevil is “Meditating,” but we’re not sure that’s the vibe we get in this ASMR clip. Matt is clearly working. And just what is he listening for in these rain-drenched streets for this many hours? Is he listening for the latest on Mayor Fisk’s criminal doings? Keeping tabs on his buddy Frank Castle and his Punisher activities? But being there for 10 hours, he’s gonna catch a hell of a cold. But he’s a glutton for punishment, he’ll just suffer through it all and go out and beat up criminals even if he’s got a fever. That’s just his way.
Marvel StudiosThere have been lots of ambiance videos online for years on YouTube based on various movies and shows. But rarely do we get any of those from the companies who produce the content they’re based on. And we’re all for it. Marvel, give us the mid-century office sounds of the TVA from Loki for hours. Another possibility is the faint and comforting sounds of 1940s Big Band music playing in Steve Roger’s apartment on an old record player. How about the bridge of the Benatar from Guardians of the Galaxy, just tuned in for 10 straight hours to Peter Quill’s mix tapes. There are 36 Marvel shows and several streaming series, the possibilities for more of these are endless.

THE OFFICE Spinoff Series THE PAPER Shares First Image, Sets September Release
Pop culture has long warned us about the perils of spending too much time inside an office. Yet Hollywood can’t stop spending time in one. And now, it’s official. Peacock has picked off The Office spinoff and given it a series order. We officially have some details about The Office spinoff’s plot and cast members as well as a first-look photo for The Paper.
It will premiere on Peacock in September. Let’s hope this spinoff has better luck than Suits LA, which just got cancelled after only one season.
PeacockIt appears the new series will take place in Toledo, Ohio. Variety reports that a not-yet-released to the general public trailer reveals that Oscar (Nuñez) is now working as an accountant for the Toledo Truth-Teller and is not happy to see the documentary crew again.

NBCWe finally have some more information about The Office spinoff. Variety reveals that this series is “a new mockumentary show with a new cast set in the same universe.”
Additionally, the logline for The Paper is as follows:
The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is in search of a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters.
Very interesting indeed.
Lisa Katz, president of NBCUniversal Entertainment shares “It’s been more than ten years since the final episode of ‘The Office’ aired on NBC, and the acclaimed comedy series continues to gain popularity and build new generations of fans on Peacock. In partnership with Universal Television and led by the creative team of Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, this new series set in the universe of Dunder Mifflin introduces a new cast of characters in a fresh setting ripe for comedic storytelling: a daily newspaper.”
The Paper‘s Cast
HBOStar Wars‘ Domhnall Gleeson and The White Lotus‘ Sabrina Impacciatore are the first performers to join The Office spinoff’s cast. The Hollywood Reporter says Gleeson and Impacciatore have signed on for a possible new sequel show to the smash hit NBC series, which remains as popular as ever thanks to streaming.
There are a lot of people who will star in this series. According to Variety, the latest are Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Tim Key, and Eric Rahill. We don’t know anything about their characters quite yet but we should be getting more information soon.

We previously learned that The Office spinoff added Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei, and Ramona Young to its growing cast. I personally loved Gregg in The Blackening and know he will be hilarious in this.
Peacock/The CW/Lionsgate FilmsMore About The Office Spinoff The PaperThis new version of The Office is in development from original series creator Greg Daniels and Michael Korman. Reports of a potential The Office spinoff first came to light last September. Daniels then put together a writing room in January. Now, we know we will get episodes this September, which is pretty quick for a TV series these days.
NBCImpacciatore is an Emmy-nominated actress, and Gleeson is known around both this world and the galaxy far, far away as the detestable General Armitage Hux. Impacciatore plays the managing editor for the Toledo Truth-Teller, while Gleeson plays an idealistic new employee.
We will surely find out more once the trailer for The Paper drops.

When Will Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY Release? Pre-Order Information and More

F1 Trailer Sets Up Racing Drama That Will Heat Up the Summer
Racing games and films will never get old. There’s something about that rush of the race as talented drivers battle it out to be number one. Danger lurks around every curve and we can almost feel the sweat on our own brow, even though we aren’t behind the wheel. The latest racing film to speed into theaters, F1, delivers an intense trailer that pits Brad Pitt against Damson Idris.
In this film, Pitt portrays Sonny Hayes, whose Formula 1 dreams went up in smoke after an accident in the 1990s. Decades later, a friend convinces Sonny to return and save a team on its last leg.
This means Sonny must work with Joshua Pearce, the team’s brash rookie who doesn’t want advice from a never-was. The F1 trailer plays out their antagonistic relationship to perfection alongside some intense track action.
What Is the Release Date for F1?
Warner Bros.F1 will hit theaters on June 27.

FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES Has a Blood-Splattered Logging Truck Driving Around
A big Hollywood studio should not be using my pain to promote a new movie, and yet here we are. Final Destination 2 scared me in a way no other film ever has. It’s the only horror movie I’ve ever seen that resulted in me developing a lifelong phobia. It’s a very specific dread, and if you know what I’m referring to, you almost certainly have it, too. (How could you not?!) Obviously I am about talking about logging trucks, the most terrifying monster ever put on a big screen thanks to Final Destination 2. I simply cannot be near on a highway. I can’t even be near a vehicle that reminds me of one. See, I know what can happen. I know what can happen.
Obviously Warner Bros. Pictures know the power of that iconic horror movie automobile, too, because it’s promoting Final Destination Bloodlines by sending a blood-splattered logging truck across the United States.
……No.
Nooooooooooo. I do NOT like this. I don’t think it’s clever, fun, or appropriate. Now, you might disagree. You might think this is a brilliant marketing strategy, a way for the film to not only rouse interest in the new sequel by hearkening back to the film’s best installment, but as a way to indicates Bloodlines will tie together each installment in the series.
If you think those things you can go to hell, because if I come across this gas-powered nightmare I might have to turn in my driver’s license for good.

Like I said, my pain should not be a promotional tool no matter how clever that promo might be. Final Destination 2 will scare me for the rest of my life. The fact Final Destination Bloodlines wants to use that against me is just another cruel joke by Death. And also some pretty smart people at Warner Bros. marketing department.

THE WALKING DEAD: DEAD CITY’s Latest Death Gives Negan a Taste of His Own Ruthless Medicine
The Walking Dead: Dead City season two is just getting started but it is already putting Negan in a tough position. The former ruthless leader of the Saviors is a lot more reluctant to violence and wanting to go back to his old ways. However, he doesn’t have much of a choice, thanks to the Croat and Dama. They are essentially holding him hostage and forcing him to rally the NYC troops to fight New Babylon. In episode two, it almost looked like Negan was starting to enjoy his celeb status among the Burazi. But this mission to take down a boat leads to Negan getting a small taste of his own villainous medicine.
In the episode, the Croat hears word that a group of people from the mainland are coming to Manhattan. Of course, New Babylon wants to take over the city and have its methane reserves for fuel. So, Negan devises a plan to attack the incoming ship. He even works alongside the Croat and Burazi to make it happen. Before their attack, the Croat boasts about Negan, telling a story about how he fooled a group into thinking the Saviors would bow to them.

Who Is the Croat on THE WALKING DEAD: DEAD CITY? The Ruthless Villain and His Burazi, ExplainedInstead, they fed the group walker meat, causing them great stomach pain before death. Negan grins at the memory and even finishes the story. But when they begin to attack the ship with bombs, he seems to be relishing in his power. However, that quickly fades when he sees Herschel getting into a boat. He holds back on the next round of firing to give the boat a chance to escape. The Croat notices and tells Dama, who decides to exert her authority.
She brings in Victor, the talented violinist who Negan formed a bond with during his imprisonment. She forces Victor to play a song and subsequently says that they should have no desire to reclaim or honor the old ways of the world. Dama stabs him in the neck, which causes Negan to cry out in anguish. And, to really rub salt in the wound, she leans over to the Croat and said he did a good job. Negan gives the Croat a deadly stare, which sets up some serious conflict between them in the future. The Croat may be his fan but his unwavering loyalty is to the Dama, just like it was to Negan when he was a Savior.
AMCNegan watching someone he cared about dying so callously is not nearly as painful as when he bashed in Glenn’s head in front of Maggie’s face. But it does give him just a taste of his own cruel. It reminds him that he killed many innocent people in the name of flexing his power. This isn’t his first time in being imprisoned but this time, it is not out of wanting to hold a higher moral standard like Rick did. (Don’t get me wrong, I personally think Rick should’ve killed him.)
Dama and the Croat don’t really see him as a person, but rather a evil pawn that they can use to their own advantage. Will this drive him towards taking down Dama and the Croat for good? Probably so, especially when he realizes that Maggie is back on the island. Either way, Negan deserves whatever emotional pain that comes his way.
