Today is all about Winona, an important woman in Reagan's life. I'd say exactly who she is, but it's a spoiler if you haven't read the series or read past Chasing Memories, book 1. Suffice it to say, she comes into Reagan's life, and they form an instant bond. A bond that will affect the world and the battle of good versus evil.

Winona was raised in a cave and is super naive to the real world. But she has a heart of gold and will fight with everything she has. Her faith will give Reagan a much-needed source of strength.

Happy Monday! It's time to share another character from my Tala Prophecy series.

Today, you'll get to know Rowan, the man who captures Reagan's heart during her tough transition into a world she doesn't understand. And he has an intimate knowledge of the evil they will face because it's his brother. 

Rowan is a smoldering but sweet romantic interest, and his strength helps Reagan through.

Today is all about Lucent, a vampire who plays on the side that most benefits him, or at least that's what he's always done. Reagan and her pack talk him into supporting their cause, bringing in Heavenly intervention in their efforts to secure his loyalty. Will it be enough?

I'm sharing a character highlight a day until the release of the Tala Prophecy boxed set next Thursday, 2/16/17.

Today is all about Nana, one of my favorite characters in the series. Jackie, affectionately known as Nana, comes into her granddaughter's (Reagan) life at a pivotal moment, and time is running out to teach her everything she needs to know. 

Nana has sacrificed a lot for her family and the world. Will it be enough to ensure victory?

It's hard to have a fresh spin on vampires, but Kingdom of Embers offers just that. Whatever you think you know about vampire lore, toss it out. Alena is a vampire-witch hybrid, and even she doesn't completely understand those rules, mainly because her mother hasn't shared much yet. 
As Alena searches for answers, she begins to realize how much she has to learn about her role in the Universe. She connects with a childhood friend, who is also more than he originally appeared, and challenges those around her to share the truth ... to trust her with it.
But her journey brings her face-to-face with danger. Kudos to the author for the great balance between developing Alena--allowing the reader to become attached--and creating action and intrigue. It makes for a captivating story.

28 Days of Coloring Fun

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Woohoo! I hope you're all ready to take part in something awesome in February. This one is hosted by my dear friend, Jo Michaels.

If everyone is like me, January has been all about hitting those 2017 goals, so take a little breather in February to de-stress, relax, and ... COLOR! 
If you love coloring, and you have all these pictures to share, you'll enjoy this little challenge. You can use pictures you did before, ones you're doing just for this fun, or whatever, but here are the rules:
You must have colored the image (can be an app!).You have to list the title of the coloring book or URL of the website where you got the image in the description of your post.You gotta HAVE FUN!Missing a day is fine. There aren't any rules about that. Just browse the awesome artworks of your fellow participants on those days.

1: Name or Word (clean) - This is for your name, the name of your pet, or whatever, as long as it's a clean word.
2: Mandala - Your favorite Mandala!
3: Insect - Anything other than butterflies, they have their own day.
