Children’s Book Week
It’s Children’s Book Week, a time to celebrate children’s literature.
According the Children’s Book Week website, “Children’s Book Week is the annual celebration of books for young people and the joy of reading.” Celebrate this week by sharing favorite children’s books with your family and friends. If you’re looking for some new favorites, be sure to check out some booklists created by awesome KDL staff members.

Photo Contest: Vote for Your Favorite!
We have chosen 50 photos as semi-finalists in the Celebrate KDL Photo Contest! Visit www.kdl.org/photocontest to vote for your favorite!
One vote per photo per computer per day may be cast between now and Sunday, May 24. Winning photos will be featured in an upcoming Celebrate KDL 2016 Calendar which will be sold to raise funds for library programs. Winners will be announced on Monday, June 1.
