Opposing views.

I don't quite follow the apology but it is a fact, people can change their life if they want, but they have to do it themselves…preach on, my friend lol

You're an asshole. Plain and simple. Depression isn't just about changing your life - it's an actual disorder. Some people can have "every thing" in life, and still want to die.

And clarification.

I am so angry at my state's government.

elizabethkate:

According to an article today, the North Carolina Senate has approved a measure requiring women to get an ultrasound and wait 24 hours after a "counseling session" to get an abortion. Do they believe that women are so uninformed, so unintelligent that we need to be scared out of personal choices? I am livid, and I happen to personally be pro-life. The laws now that limit how far along a woman can be when she chooses an abortion are enough. We don't need to be talked down to like this!

You can't even get an abortion immediately! You talk to your doctor and set an appointment. The doctor tells you all the risks, so you can't argue that women are uniformed. You have days to think about it and make a final decision.

This is so demeaning to women.

They passed a law like that here, too (South Dakota). It's the anti-choice people's way of bullying, frightening, and messing with the head of a woman who is already probably pretty upset and worried as it is. Assholes.
