We’re all mourning at the moment, my friend. Anybody who actually says anything controversial. (freedom of popular speech is not free speech). I am especially mad at Tumblr at the moment because they are demonstrating the EXACT same behavior rape apologists do. EXACT. To a T. I have never hated this website or it’s people more than after this Charlie Hebdo shit. And I have been here 5 years. And I know, not all Tumblr-ers are this way, but it seems I can’t handle such stupidity and hypocrisy, even on a small level. I have unfollowed dozens of peopled and unfriended many on FB.
It’s like an intellectual high fiber diet. WOOOOSH!

So this is becoming harsh.
I am unfollowing and unfriending (on FB) people who I actually care about and even have a history with, but I must stick to my guns. I mean, honestly, what can I possibly have in common with such hypocritical dolts?
For example, how is misdirecting away from the the slaughter of cartoonists not blaming the victim?
I mean, instead of talking about the actual rape here, we’re talking about the clothes the victim was wearing.
"Oh, yeah? France was mean to the Algerians!"

I have ceased to have sense of humor about this. If you’re a preening, white, over-educated (women’s studies!) dolt who is, in fact, a TERRORISM APOLOGIST, I will unfollow/unfriend you like crazy.

At the bar tonight on the tv was this ultimate fighting/mixed martial arts shit,
and it was these two ripped dudes wearing nothing but little hoochy shorts
climbing all over each other glistening with sweat,
and I kept saying to whoever was nearby
"Wouldn’t it be hysterical if they just all of a sudden started making out?"
and no one thought it would be hysterical, but gross actually
because they are sexist. I know when I see two hot chicks wrestling
and fighting I’m supposed to whip it out and start beating off.
Over by the pool tables was the drunk little guy.
In every bar, there’s a drunk little guy.
5”2, maybe 5”4, he’s loud and laughing and stumbling.
He says crude things to the barmaids and doesn’t tip them
and he’s always hugging his friends and declaring his love for them.
There’s one in every bar, the drunk little guy.
His diminutive size gives him license.
You can’t kick his fucking ass because he’s too small.
It’d be like beating up a child,
and he’s so drunk if you kicked his ass
it’d be like beating up a retarded person.
Beating up children and retarded people
are frowned upon in our society,
and for largely sound reasons.
But what about a mimic of children and retarded people?
These were the moral dilemmas I grappled with tonight

Tumblr is a closed little world that believes its own bullshit, full of ideological clones echoing back and forth about how right they are about everything.
Maybe you all should man up and just say it: the satirists at Charlie Hebdo were asking for it. It was like they were wearing really short skirts and too-tight sweaters.
I’m so fucking sick of seeing all the permutations of “It’s a tragedy, but…”; “I feel sorry for the victims, but…”
If someone draws a cartoon and then someone shoots the drawer of the cartoon because of the content of that cartoon, it’s about free speech. Full stop. You can close your eyes and put your fingers in your ears and go “la la la la” all you want.
I generally don’t unfollow people based on the content of their posts, but today I’m fucking cleaning house. Free speech is the one issue I’m probably the most passionate about, and I’ve had enough of this closed-minded, self-righteous, sophomoric bullshit.
