A new year has dawned and none of us know what 2013 holds.

As I encouraged everyone to do in Amazing Things Will Happen, I’ve been going through the three word exercise to focus myself for the new year.

For some reason it was harder than usual for me. Might be due to the fact that I came up with a longer initial list than in years past and thus narrowing it down to only three was a bigger challenge. But, I found the words and I now have the focus to make 2013 the year I need it to be.

Looking Back at 2012

As I write this, the rain is falling heavily on top of a night full of snowfall. It is a slushy mess of a gray New England morning and I have no desire to go out and shovel the driveway as I know must be done.

Time to Make the Videos

I'm not sure which is harder some days. The actual writing of the book or the marketing of it.

Thankfully, I love both parts and today my efforts have been focused on filming a series of videos that will explain core parts of the books.

Between it being a holiday and me needing to get them done right away, I opted to set up, light and shoot the videos all myself. Yes, I'm wondering what I was thinking as well!

I'll share them as soon as they are ready.

Amazon Jumps the Gun

Yesterday was a very long day for me.

My new book Amazing Things Will Happen is not suppose to hit shelves until the end of the month, but Amazon decided they wanted to release the Kindle version early.

This is great for fans and readers because they get it early.

But, for me the author is a bit of instant mess as it messes up my entire launch plan.

Thankfully the early reviews have been very good and we got as high as #3 on an Amazon Best Seller list which was cool to see.

But, I'm going to roll with the punches and see where it takes us!
