Balancing Holiday Magic and a Labor of Love: Crafting Stories with Care

As the holiday season approaches, I’m thrilled to be in the creative zone, juggling two very different projects! One is a heartwarming standalone Christmas story filled with the magic of love and healing after loss. Simultaneously, I’m deep into crafting a series that’s taken much longer than I originally anticipated. I was hoping to get the series out before the Christmas story, but right now it looks like the Christmas story will come out first.

I know some of you have been eagerly waiting for the series to be finished, and I want to thank you for your patience. The delay is intentional—because I’ve realized that rushing to meet deadlines isn’t the approach I want to take with stories that mean so much to me (and to you). Instead, I’m prioritizing quality over speed, ensuring each chapter feels right, each character fully developed, and that the emotional depth you love shines through. Fortunately, I am blessed enough that the publishing company I am working with is so understanding and agrees with this approach, as in the end, it is all about the reader experience.

It’s tempting to get caught up in the race of producing content, but I believe in the power of storytelling that lingers in your heart long after you’ve turned the last page. And while it’s true this process takes time, I’m confident that the end result will be worth the wait.

I’m excited for what’s to come—both with the cozy Christmas story and the series that I’m shaping with care. Stay tuned, and thank you for being on this journey with me!

There are plenty of other story concepts that I have to work on once the Christmas story and the series in progress are completed. All of them have different special significance to me - just like all my stories. I will never sacrifice quality for speed in publishing my stories. When getting out my books is delayed, it honestly crushes me. Sometimes, it's just necessary. So again, thank you for your patience and continued support in allowing me to live my dreams.

Coming soon: More updates on both projects (and maybe a few sneak peeks 😉). Check back often for updates!
