How Do Characters Go Bad
Every story needs a bad guy to make the hero shine. WithoutDracula, Johnathan Harker would have just been a wimpy solicitor. LukeSkywalker might still have become a hero as a squad leader in Star Wars, but, withthe help of a shove from daddy Darth he became a more awesome and memorablecharacter as a Jedi Knight. The villain and their background has everything to do withhow heroic a hero will turn out to but what's the recipe for turning acharacter to their dark side?

The Watch
I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man, who stood in frontof the five and dime with a box full of junk. Trinkets maybe, from his betterdays.

OneWord/60 Seconds: Sparkling
OneWord.com is a website for getting the muse warmed up. Each day you get one word and sixty seconds in which to write what it inspires. This was my entry today.
[image error] He held the crystal up in the sunlight. The sparkling facets danced with a rainbow of color. The colors reflected on the window and his skin giving him a child like delight. With a soft grin he marveled at the simple wonder.
