We’ve returned to sunny LA, from one tourist spot to another tourist spot. ☺️ Back to our morning beach walks, where the pelicans had a feeding frenzy, a pod of dolphins swam literally right next to Primo’s surfboard, and a seal ate a fish ferociously a yard away from Primo. (and also where a strange lady thought my hat was her hat. classic, Santa Monica) ☺️❤️

A sight to launch a thousand stories. ❤️ We are headed back to the States today, and even though we’ve had the most deliriously wonderful time in New Zealand, we’re both also feeling restless and ready to get back to “work.” And work is in quotes because making art and creating new worlds is, even on the hardest days, not *really* work, but a part of who we are. Time to channel all these sights into the creative well. Happy 2016, everyone! ❤️

At the beginning of the year, when we went to see the Northern...
At the beginning of the year, when we went to see the Northern Lights, we picked up the habit of building inukshuks, little people-shaped mounds of rock that point to things/places of importance. Here’s the little guy we left by our secret stream.
