You guys, great news: we’re repackaging Legend, and Penguin is letting ME redesign the cover. Check it out! I’m so excited! This is what I always envisioned for Legend’s covers—their soulful eyes are indicative to me of the hearts of Day and June. Paired with the noblest of fonts, I cannot imagine anything better. I hope this opens the gates for all YA books to also be designed by their authors.

What I’m listening to while editing Legend 3’s ending. “Promise” is a fitting song title, methinks. :)

What? Don’t give me that look….I’m totally not excited for Game of Thrones. Not at all. That’s why I caved and made these House sigils for Day and June, because I am *that* not excited.

Music like a box of sweets
I’ve been listening to this girl’s music on hitrecord.org for a while now, and every time she uploads something new, I fall in love all over again. Why are you not taking over the world yet, peppina!

Sorry I’m obssessed.
Day looks pleased with himself. Or perhaps displeased with you. Day, where are your manners! (This is SUCH a cool fanart! I love everything about it—his scowl, his hair, and lookit, you can even see his pendant necklace chain!)

In Which I Dream
Last Night’s Dream: I woke up to see a bunch of zombies shuffling outside my garage. Was not scared, because obviously these zombies were actors hired as a flash mob. Boyfriend ran out to our garage and shoved some of them down. We followed the trail of fake flash mob zombies to a house down the street, where we were kidnapped by a mob boss’s minions and brought to see him in his secret torch-lit velvet chaired lair. He had a monocle. He told us we had fallen for his brilliant fake flash mob zombie routine and that now we had to work for his shipping company that ships velvet chairs to China. I asked him if he would pay us for the work, and he said “Yes. Six figures.” So I concluded that this didn’t sound too bad, and we both signed up.
