Collab with the amazingly talented Brynne. She drew the gorgeous lines, I slapped colour on top and made a mess of Day’s shirt (how do folds work? I don’t know…)
Brynne’s art is so dynamic and expressive, it was heaps of fun working out how to mesh my colouring style with her drawing style. Thank you (again!) for asking to do a collab :)

DC Comics asks artists to show their skill at killing off naked women
Fans of DC Comics must be starting to wonder if its many recent PR problems arent deliberate self-sabotage.
Anyone who defends this saying that it’s character-appropriate because Harley Quinn is crazy enough to do this will get punched most heinously in the face. Sexualizing a woman while she’s about to commit suicide is not character-building. There is NO legitimate reason to ask artists to strip her naked, put her in a bathtub, and draw her ready to kill herself other than to glorify the link between sex, violence, and women. Look kids, check out how smokin’ hot her naked body is right before she electrocutes herself! What a turn-on! Excuse me while I yak into a bag. You’re dead to me, DC.

Finally decided on a name for my new kitten:
Altan!
Yep, named after Day from Marie Lu’s LEGEND. Why? Because Day is an Asian with blonde hair and blue eyes, and so are Siamese cats. (Well Day is Mongolian and Siamese cats are Thai but whatever.)
There is a freakishly adorable Siamese kitten out there who is named after Day. I think this may be Day’s proudest moment.
