I loved this book. It might be a cliche but The Salt Path really did make me laugh and make me cry. A wonderful, touching and inspiring story of taking a chance and beating the odds.

A well-written Victorian whodunnit with seances, shadowy figures, and forbidden desire. An enjoyable read.
