National Park Writing Inspiration

The setting of Rock and a Hard Place  was inspired by my visits to Lassen Volcanic National Park.

Coming up with names for areas in my fictional August Volcanic National Park--like Goblin Valley, Devil’s Ridge, Incubus Peak, Demon River, Mount Hellion, and Diablo Creek--was a blast!

I'm grateful to live so close to this beautiful real-life place, especially when it's sweltering in the valley and we need to escape to the mountains for some cool, refreshing air.

Love-resistant Hockey Player

 After listening to all of my books in audiobook form, I was delightfully reminded of how Ice Flambé is one of my favorites in the Red Valley Ravens series.

Before Lucas got his own book, he made an appearance in two of the steamy short stories in the Me series. His story is a heartbreaking, albeit steamy one, but I'm so glad he finally opened his heart to the possibility of love...
