Is literature going the way of fast food?
It's always interesting to read the reviews! To be honest, it makes me a bit nervous sometimes.... not all of them are flattering - luckily the great majority are quite nice and extremely motivating. And most seem genuine and honest - a great feed-back.
Whereas some readers appreciate the humour and let a story develop (although I freely admit my book is a fairy tale...), I sometimes have the feeling that some readers expect ever more spectacular events to happen on every second page -
which leads me to the thoughts: are Hollywood action blockbusters changing the way we're expected to read and write? Would Jane Austen be dumped into the trash bin nowadays?
Is fast food spreading to literature?
A quick story-to-go as we have not time or patience left ?
your feed-back is appreciated :)
cheers

the end is near....
At least for Pierre and Armand, as I'm about to finish the last sequel.
I can promise, suspense is guaranteed, as adventure never comes without a cost!

cheers and have a great week-end (with a bit of sun...)

4000 downloads soon to be reached...toiling hard for the 3rd book,
on the last pages of the next sequel, but it's hard work....
Venice proofs to be more dangerous for our heroes than it could ever have been imagined... and Pierre suddenly discovers the dark sides of his character - will he join his infamous cousin?
you'll need to wait a bit more until those questions will be answered!
thanks to all for your encouraging ratings and feed-back!

Thank you, Jade!
Received a new review last week from Jade, not only that she loved the book because of its suspense - the best thing is that she picked up the humour and loved it!
If I can can grip you or make you smile and even laugh - it's my greatest reward!

Agatha.....I admire you!
Looked into an old paperback of Agatha Christie this weekend.....
How did she do it? A character pops up in her story and immediately I see him (or her) standing there, alive - and I think: I know somebody like that! The playboy who only fancies himself, the fat woman who bullies everybody, the shy esoteric spinster, they're all around us!
Even today her plots are still outstanding - her books so entertaining, decades after they have been written! Stunning!
