R: (having finished editing a scene of dialogue between Aidoneus, Demeter, and Persephone) Wow. That last paragraph got me right here.
Me: Really?
R: I’m legitimately choking up right now.
Me: That scene’s gonna fuck’em up ina good way, isn’t it?
R: YEP.

How many books are you intending to write in the Hades and Persephone series?
Eight in the series.
Receiver of Many
Destroyer of Light
The Good Couselor
The Ineffable Seeds
Ilion
Twice Born
Mother of Desire
Alexandria
Eight in the series from beginning to end, and another book in the intermission beyween Ineffable and Ilion, appropriately named Titanomachy.
I was talking with R last night, and he will probably be co-authoring the book with me because we both have some serious ideas about it.
Quick question: is R your husband?
Correct!
R has been doing the Big Initial Edit on my books since the very beginning.
He started looking over and editing my work when we were dating and while we were engaged, and we got married on the Autumnal Equinox between the writing of Receiver of Many and Destroyer of Light. His input and voice in my work has been invaluable.

It’s taken a long time with work and a culmination of health issues keeping me down, but I’m determined to get back to working on my digital art as much as I’m able to. Here’s a sleepy Persephone in the asphodel
