Is there a publish date for the Good Counselor yet?

Nope, not yet, still writing it and had to take a writing hiatus for a couple weeks while I recovered from Bell’s Palsy. Which I didn’t even know existed until i came down with it.

I got MAJOR Leo ♌️ vibes from that Apollo scene. Which is interesting bc Apollo is the God of Light which basically represents the sun and in astrology Leo is ruled by the Sun! Would it be okay to presume I get Scorpio vibes from Persephone and kinda Tauru

I think you’re right on with the Leo for Apollo and the Taurus for Hades. I think it would be ridiculous if I made Apollo anything but a Leo, honestly.

Hades is absolutely an earth sign, can’t really be anything but, and I hadn’t really pinned Persephone for being a Scorpio but it makes some amount of sense.

I’m going to put that one out to everyone who follows me… what signs would you attribute to the major characters in my books?

Kinsey scale of your characters if you so please, I need to know if I'm right hahaha

Lol there’s like 70 characters in my books

Simply put, unless I explicitly state otherwise, just assume that all of them are bisexual. I think I may have said that before, but probably a very long time ago.

Can u give us more information concerning the upcoming TV show especially about the cast team

Nope. I have a big meeting coming up but that’s about all I can say. When I am allowed to give out information, trust me you’ll know because I will be incapable of shutting up about it, and there’s likely going to be a press release of some sort.

In your series, are H & P related by blood or not? Thank you!

Yes and no.

I’m not out to rewrite the familial relationships between the gods, but I don’t really go into it. The Greeks had a determined family tree for the gods, and that’s how I wrote them.

Within world though, the gods are siblings, children, parents, etc., but siblings aren’t related the way human siblings are. The only real blood relationships in the universe I created in my books is between the child and its parents.

If that squicks you out still, my telling might not be for you. In my books very little is made of their interrelatedness, and I don’t fetishize or delve into incestual relationships, mostly because it’s not my thing.

As someone who has ADD, I sometimes struggle with reading a book start to finish, and fully absorbing it. Do you think there’s a chance of an audiobook version of ROM, DOL, etc. being made?

I’m going to try my darndest, but the lowest cost of a professionally recorded audiobook would come in at around $10,000US, and that’s per book. We’ll see once The Good Counselor is published.

As a fellow ADD sufferer, I feel your pain. (Though my main focus and memory issue is with auditory information. Reading, visual, I’m great. Listening? In one ear, out the other even if I’m trying.)

Good morning,

museums should repatriate artifacts belonging to living cultures and display reproductions instead

Good afternoon,

no one is entitled to the sacred art, tools, or costumes of another culture (save members of the culture itself) and nonsacred reproductions will serve just as well for the purposes of education and appreciation

Good evening,

having museums full of reproductions would be even cooler than having museums full of sacred artifacts because when modern craftspeople are able to replicate those artifacts, it’s usually because they still make the same items the same way today

this means that you could have description tags emphasizing that such-and-such item has been made by these people in almost the same way for hundreds of years

having museums full of beautiful reproductions takes the emphasis off of Things and places it on the People who make them, which is really as it should be
