On 6/22 I sent my poem Altagracia's Lament to the editor of Spectral Realms for consideration. He responded soon after saying that he liked it, but suggested that I tweak a few lines. I did so and this weekend I got the official word that it has been accepted for issue #16!

Just as a reminder, issue #15 is due to be released any day now (I imagine, within the first week or so in July), so keep an eye out for that one. It will feature my poems Black Hymeneal, Witch's Tit,, and Manurog.

Spectral Realms #15 is available now on the Hippocampus Press website, and it features three of my poems: Manurog, Witch's Tit, and Black Hymeneal.

I have received several communications from Dan Sauer of Jackanapes Press and have seen the prospective cover art for my book of shadows, as well as a PDF of the formatted text replete with several illustrations and flourishes, and let me tell you, it is a beautiful book! I cannot wait for it to be released into the world! We are still in the process of proofreading, with the help of fellow weird poet Scott J. Couturier, but I expect it should be done in time for Halloween, if not sooner! I will of course keep you all posted of any updates.

The anthology starts off with a reprint of my prose poem "Gargoyle" and features poetry, tales, and artwork regarding this fanciful creature by several of my colleagues. I feel it shall soon become one of the definitive collections on the subject.

Happy Valentine's Day! As usual, I have been remiss in keeping you all updated on my recent activities, and I apologize for that. I have had a lot on my plate personally and it has taken up a lot of my time and energy.

Anyway, moving on, I had a reprint of my poem Thalía in the anthology Vampiricon: Imaginings and Images of the Vampire, edited by Frank Coffman and published by Mind's Eye Publishing.

Spectral Realms #18 is now available from Hippocampus Press and contains my poem, Love Song of the Lugubrious Gondolier.

A Walk in a City of Shadows: Tales of Urban Legendry (Alien Sun Press) is a new anthology from the folks that brought you A Walk in a Darker Wood. My poem Beware the Slenderman makes its debut here.

Lastly, I am still working on my chapbook, The Burning Ember Mission of Helldorado & Others, which is slated to be released by Jackanapes Press, sometime in the coming months. We are currently doing final drafts and layouts and incorporating the amazing artwork by UK artist Mutartis Boswell. More info on that as things develop.

I received word last night from S. T. Joshi that my Arthurian-themed love poem, Brocéliande, has been accepted for Spectral Realms #19.

Greetings! Hippocampus Press has release two new poetry books today, both of which feature poems by yours truly! Firstly, the latest issue of the supernatural themed poetry journal Spectral Realms (issue #19) is now available, and it contains my Arthurian love poem, "Brocéliand". also available is the poetical tribute to H. I received word over Thanksgiving from editor S.T. Joshi that my poem "Bluebeard's Donjon" was accepted for issue #23 of Spectral Realms. I will keep you all updated on its publication.
