'The Sandlot Princess' is Live!
Good morning, everyone!
My first non-Cinderella book in what feels like forever, 'The Sandlot Princess', is now live on Amazon! It should be up on the other retailers soon.
It's been weird writing a book that's not in my Cinderella series, but there are definitely some elements of those books that are still here. I'm excited to keep experimenting with new ideas, new characters, and new stories, and I hope you enjoy them as much as you enjoyed the last series!
As always, feel free to reach out and let me know what you think -- good and bad!
Happy Reading!

Cinderella in the Surf (#4) is LIVE!
Another installment of the CINDERELLA series is in the books! CINDERELLA IN THE SURF is live on Amazon and Barnes & Noble today!
It was a tough one, particularly because it was the first time I wrote about a sport that I don't actively play or watch. I'm pretty much pathetic on a surfboard.
I hope you enjoy Rachel & Walker's story!
More coming soon on the blog!

Third 'Cinderella' Book Is Here!
It’s live!
CINDERELLA STEALS HOME is available on Amazon.
It’s perhaps a bit darker than my other books, but if you read CINDERELLA IN SKATES, there’s a happy surprise in this book for you. For those of you who haven’t read SKATES, this new book does have a major spoiler, so I recommend picking up the hockey book first, if you’re interested in it.
I’m not sure what’s next for me. Definitely another book in the ‘CINDERELLA’ series, but I haven’t decided where or what sport it’ll involve. If you’ve got an idea for me or there’s one sport you really want to see a book about, drop me a comment here, on Facebook or on Twitter. I love to hear from you!
All the best,
Carly

CINDERELLA Book 3 Excerpt
Well, hello! I hope you’re all having fantastic weekends and enjoying March Madness!
I’m hard at work on the third book in my CINDERELLA series, though it’s going a bit slower than I’d like now that I’m also working my first big girl job, but I thought I’d share a quick excerpt with you from Holly and Doan’s story:
__
I’m almost to the chorus when I hear a knock at my door. I ignore it and keep singing when it sounds again, louder and more persistent this time. With a groan, I put my guitar down on the bed and walk over to the door, expecting to see Dad or Justin standing there, wanting me to come down to the pool again.
Instead, I jump back immediately as Doan leans against the door frame, arms crossed over his bare chest. He’s wearing just a pair of bright blue swim trunks and flip flops.
“I didn’t know you were a singer,” he says.
I swallow hard. He must’ve just come out of the pool; there are still some water droplets clinging to the muscles on his tanned arms and pecs.
“Uh,” I say, shaking my head, trying to regain my composure. Doan, of all people, isn’t going to affect me. “You don’t know anything about me.”
He smirks. “Well, now, that isn’t true. I know you don’t want to live in Arizona, don’t really like your dad and that you’re pretty cute when you’re all riled up around me.”
My nostrils flare. Justin always used to say that was a dead giveaway that I’m either about to let someone have it, or lie.
I’m not sure which one is in play right now with Doan.
“You don’t rile me up,” I say.
Lying it is.

Phew! Cinderella in Skates is almost here!
It’s written. It’s almost edited. It has a beautiful cover (not pictured) designed by the lovely Katie Murray of Mumbo Marketing. I hope to bring it to all of you by the end of next week at the latest.
More good news: On the day of its release and for the first three days after, CINDERELLA IN CLEATS will be 99 cents on Amazon.com to celebrate!
So what can you expect from the new book?
Snow. Hockey. Ice. And a really cute college hockey player.
Natalie’s just moved to Wisconsin from Arizona and she isn’t that happy about it. When her dad, a former hockey player, tells her that she can move back home in the summer if she makes her new school’s hockey team, she’s not sure how to make that happen — until Shane Stanford, the funny, hot hockey star next door, offers to be her coach.
Will Natalie put it together in time to make the team and head home or will Shane be a distraction she can’t ignore?
CINDERELLA IN SKATES is a young adult fiction novel of about 52,000 words.
