Lord Siva becomes very puzzled

Even Lord Siva can’t escape Vaisnava-aparadha
O my dear lord, you are the friend of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is the friend of all living entities. You are therefore equal to everyone, and you are free from the bodily conception. Although I have committed an offense by insulting you, I know that there is no loss or gain for you due to my insult. You are fixed in your determination, but I have committed an offense. Because of this, even though I may be as strong as Lord Siva, I shall be vanquished without delay due to my offense at the lotus feet of a Vaisnava.

Srila Prabhupada fondly remembers New Vrindaban
This modern civilization is always artificial. You are actually learning in New Vrindaban the self-sufficient mode of living, simple living, high thinking, that is our policy, and as long as Krsna remains in the center of all these activities, then you are actually in Vrindaban. So I am always looking forward to coming back to New Vrindaban, and I remember very fondly the sandesh, milk, and other nice products that the devotees are preparing there.

Real renouncement
You said that your job is maya, but you must know that maya is illusion. As soon as there is absence of Krishna Consciousness — that is maya. But you are working just to help and push Krishna’s interest; therefore, it is not maya. Anything dovetailed in Krishna Consciousness is real renouncement.

Material means dirty, spiritual means clean
The more you cleanse the temple, the more you decorate the Deity, more your heart becomes cleansed and you become spiritually decorated. So cleanliness is next to godliness. Material world means dirty things and spiritual world means clean.

Flies and bees
The flies, they are finding out where is sore, and the bees, they are finding out where there is honey. So two animals, they have got two business: fault-finding and collecting the good things. Similarly, there are many rascals who are simply fault-finding. Blasphemy means you have good qualities, but still, I am defaming you. The saintly person tends to overlook the bad qualities and see the good ones.
