No compromise
We should not compromise in any way just to accommodate the public idea, but we can so tastefully present the real thing that we will change the people to accommodate us.

No divorce in Hinduism
There is no question of [divorce]. We do not know what is divorce. In our country there is no divorce, at least in Hindu law. Wife and husband, once combined, that is for life. There is no question of separation, in all circumstances. Either in distress or in happiness, there is no question of separation. Now our modern politicians, they have introduced this divorce law. Otherwise, according to Hindu, Manu-samhita, there is no divorce law.

Secret treasure
The devotees are generally without material prosperity, but they have a very secret treasure house in the lotus feet of the Lord.

We simply stick to Krishna
We belong to pure devotional service group, following the footprints of great mahajanas. Our purpose should be that we are in one side and all others they are on the other side. We deprecate everyone, even one who is against animal slaughter. In the Caitanya-caritamrta, it is clearly said that there are two classes of activities. Pious and impious. We do not favor any one of them. Neither we favor any philosophical speculation, we simply stick to Krishna, and wish to render loving transcendental service unto Him.

Doggish, vagina-licking civilization
Prabhupada: Just see. This is their civilization. In Paris there are so many clubs. The old men, they first of all pay fifty dollars to enter into the club. Then he selects which vagina he will lick up. Then another payment.
Hari-sauri: To sit in the room.
Prabhupada: Yes. Actually this is the fact. But they are fools. They still like to lick up new vagina. Exactly dogs. We are restricting that “Give up this business, licking of vagina,” and they are seeking up to the point of death another vagina, another vagina, another… Which is better? If we say that “Give up this nonsense business,” is that brainwash? And if it is brainwash, it is for good. What is this civilization, who is never satisfied? The same business is going on up to the point of death. Our civilization is: “All right, you are attached to vagina-licking. Do it up to fifty years. Then give it up.” This is our civilization. “You are so much accustomed to the vagina-licking business-up to fifty years, so long you are young. Then give it… Don’t do it anymore.” This is our civilization. And that also, after twenty-five years. For twenty-five years teach him, “It is no good business. Brahmacari. Remain alone. You have got so much botheration.” If he’s still unable: “All right, take one wife. Be satisfied. Lick up one. And then, at the age of fifty years, give up.” Is that wrong?

A message suitable for people in general
Instead of living engrossed in material activities, people throughout the world should take advantage of this movement and chant the Hare Krsna maha-mantra at home with their families. One should also refrain from sinful activities-illicit sex, meat-eating, gambling and intoxication. Out of these four items, illicit sex is very sinful. Every person must get married. Every woman especially must get married. If the women outnumber the men, some men can accept more than one wife. In that way there will be no prostitution in society. If men can marry more than one wife, illicit sex life will be stopped. One can also produce many nice preparations to offer Krsna — grain, fruit, flowers and milk. Why should one indulge in unnecessary meat-eating and maintain horrible slaughterhouses? What is the use of smoking and drinking tea and coffee? People are already intoxicated by material enjoyment, and if they indulge in further intoxication, what chance is there for self-realization? Similarly, one should not partake in gambling and unnecessarily agitate the mind. The real purpose of human life is to attain the spiritual platform and return to Godhead. That is the summum bonum of spiritual realization.

The greatest danger
The greatest danger is the danger of getting a body lower than that of a human being. It was with great difficulty that we attained this human form of life just to take advantage of this body and reestablish our relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Govinda.

Opening the eyes of so-called leaders
This Krsna consciousness movement is determined to open wide the eyes of the so-called leaders, who are full of ignorance, and thus save them from the many pitfalls and dangerous conditions of life.

The perfect way of offering sacrifice
In our sankirtana movement, or Hare Krsna movement, we offer sumptuous prasada to the Deity and later distribute the same prasada to the brahmanas, the Vaisnavas and then to the people in general. Krsna’s prasada is offered to the brahmanas and Vaisnavas, and the prasada of the brahmanas and Vaisnavas is offered to the general populace. This kind of sacrifice — chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra and distribution of prasada — is the most perfect and bona fide way of offering sacrifice for the pleasure of Yajna, or Visnu.
