Fighting between dogs
You cannot stop fighting between the dogs and cats. Why there is fighting? Because the dog is thinking, “I am dog.” The cat is thinking, “I am cat.” Similarly, if I think as Irishman, “I am Englishman,” it is the same thing. As the dog is thinking, “I am dog,” so if I think, “I am Irishman,” “I am Englishman,” I am no better than the dog. So as we cannot stop the fighting between dogs, similarly, so long people will remain in bodily concept of life, the fighting cannot be stopped.

Krsna takes special care of devotee-soldiers
When the soldiers risk their lives on the battlefield, the government is very much inclined to give them all facilities in their work, even the citizens may be deprived of their comforts. So Krsna takes special appreciation for His devotees who are engaged in risking for His preaching work, and He will give you special care and guidance at all times because you are sincerely trying to serve Him in this way.

Skyscraper hell
What is this comfort of the skyscraper building? I think it is a mechanical prison. It is hell. And we are creating this hell.

See the realization, not the beard
A Krishna conscious person must be seen by ears and not by the eyes, or in other words one should try to know the depth of realization by a Krishna conscious person and not see the beard, which has become the practice of the hippies.

The greatest service to humanity
To save a man from impersonal calamity is the greatest service to humanity. According to Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the Lord is full in six opulences & the rascal impersonalists says that the Lord has no form & the most dangerous accusation for the Lord that He assumes a material form when he descends. The Impersonalist is of the opinion that the absolute has no form & He appears in a particular type of form according to the whim of nonsense; The impersonalist presents any form nonsensical by his imagination & worships it as God. This accusation of the Lord is the greatest offense of the nonsense impersonalist. Such offender can never realize the transcendental form of the Lord & the Lord puts such nonsense into more & more darkness so that the dangerous impersonalist can never know the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Clearing the world’s burden
The more people will be materialistic, the world will be burdened. Therefore there must be war, pestilence, famine, to clear these rascals, clear out.

Dungeons of modern civilization
Human energy should be properly utilized in developing the finer senses for spiritual understanding, in which lies the solution of life. Fruits, flowers, beautiful gardens, parks and reservoirs of water with ducks and swans playing in the midst of lotus flowers, and cows giving sufficient milk and butter are essential for developing the finer tissues of the human body. As against this, the dungeons of mines, factories and workshops develop demoniac propensities in the working class. The vested interests flourish at the cost of the working class, and consequently there are severe clashes between them in so many ways.

The standard given by Krsna
That is the fault of the modern civilization. You make your own standard, I make my own standard, he makes his own standard. And therefore there is fight between the leaders. But according to our Vedic conception there is one standard. We are persisting that “You take this Vedic standard; then you will be perfect.” And if you go on manufacturing your own standard, you will never be perfect. Because you make your own standard, I make my own standard, he makes his own standard, and there is fight. We are putting therefore the one standard, Bhagavad-gita As It Is. That is our propaganda, Krsna consciousness. If you take the standard given by Krsna, you will be happy. That is our propaganda.

Minimizing, and maintaining health
We should not eat more than required. Eating, sleeping, mating, all these are material demands; the more we minimize, then that is good, but not at the risk of health. Because we have to work for Krishna, so we must maintain our health nicely.

Loving the ants and insects
When one becomes Krsna conscious, he loves everyone. If you chant loudly Hare Krsna, even the ants and insect who is hearing, he’ll be delivered, because it is spiritual vibration.
