Bhagavatam’s glory and Hitler’s little mistake
So srimad-bhagavate maha-muni-krte. Srimad-Bhagavata is not some materialistic philosopher’s or writer’s as you have got… They are called gramya-vastavah. Gramya-vastavah means ordinarily these affairs. A man is meeting woman, woman is meeting man-that story, all these novels and fiction and dramas. It is not like that. Therefore it is said maha-muni-krte srimad-bhagavate. It is not ordinary persons writing whimsical, some, manufacturing some story, narration and puzzling the brain. No. Srimad-bhagavate maha-muni-krte: it is beyond all defects of human life. When an ordinary person writes, he writes with defective instruments. First of all, any man within this world, however great he may be, he must commit mistake. That’s a fact. There are many instances, simply for little mistake. Just like Hitler. Hitler planned so gorgeously winning over the world. A little mistake, as soon as his attention was diverted toward Russia, he was finished. The Britishers tried to divert his attention toward Russia. Little mistake. Otherwise Hitler would have come out victorious. There are many instances, in political field, in sociological field. So however one man may be great, he must commit mistake. This is called conditional life. There is no man in this world who can say that “I never committed any mistake.” Is there any man? No. That is not possible.

Srila Prabhupada’s blessing on his guru’s appearance day
So I am very glad that Krsna has sent so many nice boys and girls to help me. Be blessed on this auspicious day. And there is nothing mine. I am simply a postal peon. I am delivering to you what I have heard from my Guru Maharaja. Simply you also act in the same way, and you will be happy, and the world will be happy, and Krsna will be happy, and everything will be happy.

Offering prayers to HDG Bhaktisiddhanta Goswami Maharaja
I thank you once more for your noble sentiments about me and I can simply say that for this nice attitude Krishna will certainly help you. I am fully aware of your sincere service and therefore I pray always to Krishna for your all-round welfare. You have got a nice temple by the grace of my Spiritual Master. It is very encouraging to me. You should always pray to His Divine Grace because naturally He will be more affectionate to you than to me. Generally one is more affectionate to the grandchildren than to the children directly. So I am sure that my Guru Maharaja will be easily inclined to your prayers than that of mine. You will do good always by offering your prayers to His Divine Grace Bhaktisiddhanta Goswami Maharaja.

Things are coming so rubbish now
That is not enjoyment. Just like sex indulgence. If you indulge in more than necessary, then you will be impotent. Nature will stop. You know impotence? That will be there. Impotency. This homosex is also another sign of impotency. They do not feel sex impulse to woman. They feel sex impulse in man. That means he is impotent. It is impotency. So things are coming so rubbish now. This is the time for preaching our program, standard.

What can be done?
Generally, woman, less intelligent than man — you cannot find any big scientist, any big mathematician, any big philosopher amongst woman. That is not possible. Although in your country, you want equal status with man, freedom, but by nature you are less intelligent. What can be done? (laughter)

Lord Caitanya speaks the glories of Lord Nityananda
Lord Nityananda Prabhu, the avadhuta, is also directly the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He is always intoxicated with the madness of ecstatic love. Indeed, He is an ocean of love of Krsna.

Guru Nityananda and the reforming process
Lord Nityananda is Guru. He can instruct us, but ultimately it depends on the disciple. A doctor may say “Do this, Do not do this,” but if the patient does not follow the prescription, what is the result? Similarly, Nityananda Prabhu will hear the prayer of an insincere rascal, if that rascal actually wants to change his condition. One must agree not to be a rascal any more, then his rascaldom can be reformed. Jagai and Madhai begged the Lord for His mercy and they were prototype rascals, drunkards and debauchees. Lord Caitanya told them first you stop your nonsense activities, then I will accept you. So a rascal may be accepted provided he agrees to stop his nonsenses. Otherwise, how can one expect to be reformed if he does not agree or like to be reformed. To be reformed, he must agree to the reforming process.
In this connection, in order to remain fixed in spiritual strength, always be sure to chant the prescribed sixteen rounds of beads daily without fail. This is essential for insuring your spiritual progress.

Observing Varaha Dvadasi and other festivals
Prabhupada said that it would suffice to celebrate Lord Varahadeva’s appearance by singing the appropriate verse describing him from the song of the ten avataras.
Srila Prabhupada also verbally listed the proper fasting periods to observe for other auspicious days: Lord Nityananda’s, Sri Advaita’s, Lord Balarama’s, and Srimati Radharani’s appearances are all half-day fasts. Lord Nrsimhadeva’s and Lord Ramacandra’s appearance days are full day fasts until sunset while Gaura Purnima is a fast until moon rise.
Tamal Krishna Maharaja inquired about observing the appearance and disappearance days of great Vaisnavas. He described how we observe a
half-day fast for our immediate predecessor acaryas. He wanted to know if we should also do the same for personalities like Srila Narottama dasa and others like him. Prabhupada said yes, if it is possible. But he added that if devotees are engaged in preaching work, they may not. He said that the main thing is to sing some songs of praise and perform kirtana.
