how ya doin' lately?
I’ve been told I probably shouldn’t post about my mental problems so much, which is probably true… and I do realize I’ve been laying it on a bit thick lately. It’s tough, though, ‘cause my output is garbage now and I always feel the need to explain why.
But humans tend to have a natural inclination to take only so much sadness from a person before they just want to get away. It’s not due to callousness or not caring, it really is an instinctive thing. Sadness can be contagious, and eventually the brain will start telling them to stop reading the tweets and blogs of sad person just as a form of self-defense.
I’m a little different, as when I hear other depressed folks lament it comforts me a bit, as I know I’m not alone in this hole. I know this is an exception to the rule, though. Most people just want to see my work, and I completely understand.
Having said that, I haven’t really improved that much since that crash in August and I’m also pretty broke now, haha.
I’ll draw a comic about it later.
