regarding femfreq and "stolen art": the picture in question (from dragon quest, I think?) was actually fanart from a lady on Deviantart. More vengeful academics than I have covered this in greater detail.

What ever happened to Dr.Voluptua?
Fair question! I did put it back on hold, but Maya and I do plan to continue to finish the current chapter. I realized that getting a lot of preliminary work on the comic done in advance would be necessary to keep it updating regularly, and essentially that means me setting aside a week or so to finish writing and thumbnailing the ENTIRE rest of the chapter.
When I’ll be able to do that, I’m not sure yet, but it’ll be after I finish the current You Suck chapter (and the Slipshine comic). Early next yer perhaps!

These are backers only comments from a Tropes vs Women Kickstarter update. Each comment is from someone who donated to Anita Sarkeesian & Jonathan McIntosh. If anyone claims I’m the only backer that has a problem with the series, they’re either ignorant or lying. The videos are more than 3 years late, they push debunked science, and they use stolen gameplay footage. Feminist Frequency has also received almost half a million dollars ($) in donations.
But that’s okay because something something feminism something something video games hate women.
