How many tattoos do you have? If you don't mind what are they of? Are any of the characters in your comics super significant to you? Sorry for so many questions.

I have two tattoos so far. One political tat on my right shoulder designed by Steph McMillan and another not-so-political one on my left forearm designed by Slipshine artist Lin Visel. I finally have spare change for a third, actually, and it’ll involve snakes. I’ll post pix sometime soon… like, I know I have existing ones on my Instagram and Tumblr, but apparently I didn’t properly tag them.

A lot of my characters are significant in various ways. Right now Anna is the most autobiographical, and Wendy is basically the collection of all the physical traits I’m into :v . Babs is the sister of a very, very old mary sueish OC of mine, and thus the oldest character in terms of degrees of separation. Winter & Otra & Winter’s sister Collette all have the most character development of all my characters so far. Officer Policeguy helped me discover how bisexual I am. And Polly is probably my favorite character design overall even though I know her outfit is silly as hell.

Thanks for asking! Everyone is free to use existing arts of mine for tattoos and such if they so desire. Because of capitalism, I do tend to urge folks to commission from me a piece of art to use for tattoo designs, but you don’t have to. Something as simple as Marshmallow Cat wouldn’t cost too much, though c:

First of all, even though you’re anonymous, I know you’re white as hell, so don’t use that word, idiot.

Second…. uh…  yeah you got me. Also, like… those occupy wall street protestors, did you know they all own cell phones? Man, what is up with that. Also I paid Steph McMillan, a communist cartoonist, over $100 to design a tattoo for me. Isn’t that totally ironic?? Also, how can Tom Morello truly rage against the machine if he makes millions of dollars? Wow man I just don’t get it.

It’s as if capitalism is an encapsulating reality we all have to live with and work with. Until that changes. Or something.

I normally don’t post politics on this Tumblr anymore, but I felt the need to address this, as I get it a lot.

If you’re thinking “wait, did’t we read these stories already?”, that is understandable. This comic was written specifically for You Suck’s Tapas page, where we just finished rerunning the first two chapters.

But we thought it’d be fun to share it here, ‘cause hey, it’s a new comic, basically! And I took the opportunity to stick in a little rant by Anna about fake pockets, which was intended to come up during the shopping chapter, except I forgot to include it.

Also, for those who missed the memo, yes!:

-You Suck Chapter 6 starts this Summer. We’re currently working on building a backlog, though people who back the Patreon will see the comics as they’re done.

-Its URL has changed to yousuck.sexy… Though the old URL will continue to work for a good while.

-It’s going to be done by a team of three from now on, instead of just the one guy.

So, yeah. This was my Sistine Chapel. It took me more than a week of full workdays to complete, and I think it shows in the results. I’m very proud! Thanks to everyone who encouraged me in the notes and tags, gave me helpful critique, and watched me slave over this on my bi-weekly art streams.
