Presenting the first nine pages of Tove! These were the first pages to go online when the site launched over a month ago. A ton of work went into getting the comic ready: character designs, environment designs, style tests, the whole nine yards. So far the experience has been incredible.

let’s all look forward to said cliché brain swap episode in season 5 as the writers run out of ideas because they’ve already used almost 100 different scenarios with the same depthless characters
As Cliche as that plot is I’ve seen two cartoons use it in a way that was completely brilliant. Those being Futurama and Justice League Unlimited.
Yeah, fuck off, brain-swap episodes rule. Urusei Yatsura did a great one as well. So did Rescue Rangers (“HANDS OFF THE BODY DALE”). And Utena. And the best one ever was I Am Weasel’s, since they didn’t switch voice actors after the change and Michael Dorn’s I.R. impersonation was fuckin’ amazing.
Girly’s was pretty garbage though, I admit.
