what is the best and worst thing you've ever drawn?
Still impressed by this Doctor V page
maybe once I’m on the right meds I’ll be able to draw pages like that every day.
I also really like the rooftop sex in the latest You Suck, as well as the shower sex scene in the current chapter, which I’ll resume next month.
The worst thing? About a decade or so ago I drew a few pics of guro porn on an Oekaki forum.
…I’m not posting those.

Did pet elf ever finish. It was one of the first porn comics I read and liked alot. Big inspiration to me.
continuing in text form
the only real way to continue Pet Elf at that point would be to go with a reboot.
And if I were to reboot it…
Ogres wouldn’t actually eat elves… but the elves think they do. It’s just a rumor. Moreover, the fear would go both ways. Ogres would be scared of elves too, because they think they have these dark magical powers that would cause their penises to fall off, among other things. This mutual fear has kept the two races from interacting for centuries.
Tina still catches her boyfriend cheating on her, but instead of getting emotionally scarred by it, she just gets super-wrecked on elf gin and wanders toward the ogre forest because she heard they have huge dicks. Cheyenne follows her to keep her safe. (she’s still totally in love with Tina)
Like before, she runs into the two ogres (they aren’t hunting elves this time, of course) and sex happens. Afterward, she kind of throws up and falls asleep, so they take her home because they don’t know what else to do.
She wakes up in their bed with both ogres at her side the next morning and is all like “wow what did I do” and then she remembers and is all “wow” and the comic is all about her dealing with this totally weird situation. Of course, she can still talk, with the language barrier adding another layer to the story.
and so on.
and so on and so on and so on…
Why I’m not gonna reboot it…
I brought all the characters back in the final Girly chapters. They all made loose references to their origins and I was pretty satisfied with how they turned out in that universe. I consider it a fitting retirement for the characters.
and…
My of the elements present in the comic were brought back in some way or another in You Suck. There’s the language barrier thing, the freaky sex, the various domination themes which carry the comic… except this time with the dudes being on the sub side… which, to me, is much more interesting.
Yep, I’m pretty happy with what I’m doing now :)
How far have you gone down the fetish rabbit hole
haha look at this stupidly long-winded response to a simple question

From the long-ago age of 2008- the nockFORCE pitchbook written by Jim Gisriel and Ian Jones-Quartey
In my last post, I explained that nockFORCE was a cartoon and music project by Jim Gisriel and yours truly, but what has never been known publicly is that we were also pitching nockFORCE to networks as a TV series. (WHAT!!!!!! ITS TRUE!!!!)
I can finally reveal—- That was the secret meaning behind this cartoon:
I was working at [the now defunct] World Leaders Entertainment in NYC as an animation director for Venture Bros at the time, and we signed a deal with them to develop nockFORCE as a TV series. If it was picked up, WLE would have produced new TV-quality full episodes. We shaped the existing material into a show format and pounded the pavement to several networks to see what they thought! The pitchbook was the end result of the development process and we were pretty proud of it. I still am actually. We even included a peel-off vinyl sticker on the inside cover!
How did it go? Not that well, I think… apparently adult swim enjoyed our video content, but then said something like “what the hell is this even supposed to be? we have no idea who these guys are. stay out of georgia!!!”. Comedy Central, FOX and others pretty much went the same way.
Looking back, we were maybe a little naive about getting it made, and we worked so hard on it that we never considered that we would need additional talent, practice & exposure to become the kind of people who networks would want to buy a show from. BUUUUT we learned a whole lot from it, and I remember that the day we got our final rejection and terminated the contract, we just kept on making cartoons and music like it didn’t matter.
And maybe it didn’t! I know if we were doing this today, we probably would have just had our audience support it using tools like patreon or kickstarter. And we never would have had to suck up to any networks!
Thanks to everyone involved from back then- our producer Ben Stein; our moral support from Natasha Kaser; our champions at WLE Miguel Martinez-Joffre, Nick DeMayo, Rachel Simon & many more; and also Rebecca Sugar who conceptualized the pitchbook layout & contributed animation and designs to several shorts.
I really like how nockFORCE had all these plans, while in the meantime Ian and Jim just made quick shorts with improvised dialogue to hold viewers over. But the show just ended up becoming that. And it was pretty great!
