THE PATIENT IS CURED
Hey, chill! I don't exactly agree with the the last two anons but these criticisms aren't anything significant to take to heart.
I’m only doing it ‘cause I think it’s funny. And also some people apparently need to be told this is a sketch blog, so I thought I’d help them out?
I agree with the anon before this. Dude, Girlyyy and You Suck are awesome comics. Your Adventure Time stuff is also awesome. But your drawings are getting messier every day, man. You be slippin. The anon before even told you that he likes your comics' sexi
I was trying to be nice to the last anon. But we’re gonna do this? Fine. It should be obvious to everyone that My Cats are So Cute is a sketch blog. It is used almost entirely to post sketches. So it’s not like I’m drawing this way on accident. My finished art, for the most part, only shows up in my comics these days, so feel free to just follow You Suck and Down Together if that’s all you want.
And if you think You Suck and Down Together are also sloppy, then kindly get fucked and read someone else’s comics. Deal?

Madonna as featured in the 1987 W.B film Who’s...

Madonna as featured in the 1987 W.B film Who’s That Girl, doing a little Betty Boop tounge-in-cheek action as Nikki Finn, who also speaks with a baby bronx accent. Now Madonna is best known for her Marilyn Monroe trait, but in 1987 she did a little Boop-Oop-a-Doop, or we could say did a Cyndi Lauper, in the same year Madonna also released a song entitled Santa Baby where she sung in a Betty Boopish style, probably as Nikki Finn her alter ego/character from the film.
Huh… I never knew about this. Reminds of of the Troop Beverly hills opener, directed by pre-Spumco John K, which also turned out to be much more fun to watch than the rest of the movie.
Someone should make a list of all the cool animated opening titles like this. You don’t see this kind of thing as often these days, I don’t think.
Kinda hard to find info on who made this opener (everyone was, of course, originally uncredited) but it looks like it was designed and boarded by Daniel Melgarejo, who worked for Disney at the time (and has no IMDB entry) while John Canemaker, Elinor Blake, Doug Frankel, Bob Scott, Dan Haskett, Rick Machin, Ed Rivera, Norma Rivera, and Bill Plympton animated. Plympton apparently auditioned to direct it as well, but lost out to Melgarejo
