allright gunwild, you seem like a nice kid and I like cassiopeia jones and all. So please excuse me if I come off as a bit rough and hardassed as I explain to you why this comic is completely fucking idiotic.
Point #1: DEMANDS! COMPLAINS! These are words known as “weasel words” and they are used for the specific purpose of turning you against the person whose opinions do not match those of the author. Do not get fooled by this.
Point #2: Try to remember that Vivian is, in fact, a fictional character. I admit I am not 100% sure if this particular comic was drawn by a man, but I am 90% sure. Whatever the case, I do know this is a character created by men to spout primarily male opinions on sexism in gaming, and that’s just as bad as when South Park used its fictional black mouthpiece to tell us how bad hate crimes were. ABSOLUTELY do not get fooled by this.
Point #3: “Vivian makes her own games” Uh yeah, because games are something that can be created overnight by a single person typing at their computer. This is even worse than people who say “do you think comics suck, then create your OWN comics!!!” because at least comics CAN be done in a relatively short amount of time with a small amount of personnel. Videogames cannot.
Point #4: Despite the fact that Occulass is supposed to be the perpetually mistaken Goofus… and Vivan is supposed to be the virtuous and inspiring Gallant, Vivian looks so sad and empty. Why is that? Perhaps a slight bit of self-awareness on the part of whatever 4channer drew this comic?
