What.Is.This??? Part 4

Ah, perfect timing as I finishing up my first blog tour. Hmm. I think this might be the last update I do before showing the final pic. Dunno. We'll see!
There really wasn't too much of a difference between this and the last update, actually. I thought his left arm was a tad boring, so I moved it up. Now, what else? Ah! It looks like I did a little more detail on the right hand, and I'm starting to use one of the default digital pens here and there as well. Hope you're liking the progress! ...

Invasion Cover- Part 2

I wanted to make sure my client got a chance to see this before I posted it up, so here it is again! I'm going to seek out some insight from some fellow designers and cover artists, now that it's almost done.

I added some more textures, a few filters here and there, and brought the file back over to Photoshop, now that it's in its final stages.

This has been tons of fun! I usually don't do the romance stuff. . . even if there's an alien :P.

Invasion Cover

Happy February! Since February is "the Month of Love," it's only fitting that I find myself doing a cover for a romance novel, dontchya think? Granted, if you can't tell, it's a sci-fi romance novel.

I owe author A. Star a big one, so this is a "thank you" gift I'm doing for her. The pic still has a long way to go, but I think it's turning out nicely so far. ;)

I went back to an old love of mine, Painter 11, so I could use some digital brushes that convey the type of painting style many artists...
