Ring the bell
Ring the bell softly
Show how I lived
Ring the bell slowly
As I slip into the night
Let them know I was here
Cry softly
Love passionately
Live
But live
Ring the bell loudly
Let them know I live

Determined to Blog
I need to blog more. I need to write More. It’s been a real tough couple of months for me. I think I’m going to restructure my blog. I was too ambitious there for a while. I like the topics I chose, but I don’t think I can maintain a daily blog. I’m going to keep my topics, but I think I’m going to only do about three posts a week. In addition to the posts I’m going to do a few other things as well. Here is a list of things I’m going to try:
I will do a monthly give-a-way
I’m going to do a blog hop every couple of months
I would like to have at least two guest blogs a month
I will give weekly updates on my writing
I know there is still more I can do to improve my blog, but I am still learning about this side of writing. In reality all I want to do is write my books. I’ve never been very good at promoting myself.
Any advice anyone can give me would be a great help.
In fact, let’s make this interesting. I have a ten dollar iTunes card. I will give the card to the person who gives me the best advice on how to legally and inexpensively promote my novels. I have included the links to my books for Amazon, Nook and Smashwords.
Rules of give-a-way
You must post your advice as a comment to this post.
go to my Facebook fan page (Lucinda Moebius fan page) and like it.
The give-a-way starts May 19th and ends June 2nd.
On June 3rd I will ask the fans on my fan page to vote for their favorite piece of advice. The piece of advice that receives the most likes will win the iTunes card.
The winner will be contacted by email.
Once the winner has been determined the iTunes card will be sent to them.
*** The contest is open to U.S and Canadian residents only
*** the winner will be contacted through email so in order to win you will need to provide me with said email (you can message it to me on Facebook)
*** No purchase necessary to win

Comic book artist Moebius dies
I just want everyone to know I am alive and well in Boise Idaho! I always thought I had a unique name in the Science Fiction and Fantasy world. I debated about using a pen name, but my first publisher recommended I use my real name since most dedicated fans would find out what it was anyway. It wasn't until my first book was published and my friends and family started talking about all these other websites with the name "Moebius".

What is significant behind the name Moebius?

Emmett
What would you do if you were an ordinary boy living in an ordinary town in an ordinary state like Idaho? What would you do if all of a sudden you woke up and you had super powers? What if you had to live your life in the pages of a comic book. Pretty cool, huh?
When I was a child I used to sneak into my brother's bedroom and steal his books. He used to keep his X-Men comic books, Elf-Quest comics and Piers Anthony novels in his underwear drawer, in the same place many young boys would hide their (well you know what types of books teenage boys keep in their underwear drawer). I love comic books. I always have. It's also the one thing my husband and I have in common when it comes to the world of literature. He grew up reading the same comic books I did. He loves Captain America, The Hulk, Wolverine, all the same heroes I loved. He hates reading, but he has a deep love of the Hero's Journey because of the world of comics.
I was very excited to find out Aaron Leach is continuing the tradition of the heroic comic adventure. Emmett is the first in a series of on-line comic books. I love the idea of being able to purchase a comic book the same way I can purchase an e-book.
I've seen some pretty cool artwork from this artist and I can't wait to see how this story plays out. I am a huge fan of the Hero's Journey and seeing the underdog overcome over-the-top obstacles. I expect great things from this story-teller. I've been able to collaborate with him in the past and I'm just hoping that we will be able to collaborate on future projects.
Follow this link to find out more about Aaron and his vision for the future in the world of comics.
