Big Bag of Loot!
This summer saw not one but two new books come out, both in Finnish (sorry) and both part of the Praedor world, originally conceived by comic book artist Petri Hiltunen.
Käärmetanssija is a 453-page novel of Nejah, a girl of noble birth who has to give up her name, past and face. The former princess becomes a thief, a spy and a street dancer. Finally, she becomes the key to a bloody conspiracy that threatens the entire realm. The steps of her dance take her from the slums of Galth to the accursed shadows of Borvaria.
Salaisuuksien kirja is a 74-page supplement to the legendary (in Finland) PRAEDOR The Roleplaying Game. Salaisuuksien Kirja details secretive religious rites, wacko cults, the deadly practises of demon-worshipping witchcraft and finally the hidden secrets of masters, attainable only with tremendous skills, experience and bribes.

The Witcher
Just read the Witcher Saga but I'll be damned before I start rating the Polish-language editions here (and decrypting which is which). It starts out slow and I am a little taken aback by all the talk of genes, hormones and chromosomes in a medieval fantasy novel. But once the greater political machinery of the North starts moving, it is delightful. 4/5 easily, 5/5 at its best!

Book trailers
The Hollow Pilgrim
The Hollow Pilgrim is not a bestseller but I still think the book trailer by Finn Lectura was pretty cool. What are the best book trailers out there, in your opinion?

Here we go
I have been writing my writing, gaming and game-design oriented blog Designer's Notebook since 2003.
Still, having a Goodreads blog focusing solely on matters of writing and reading... maybe it is not impossible to do. I am currently collecting feedback on The Hollow Pilgrim and waiting to see if my publisher wants a sequel. Because if they don't want it, I already have some contacts who will. :)
The book is well-liked, if not particularly well-sold. I'd like to see some more reviews in social media or here at goodreads but I guess ebook releases don't really get that kind of attention?
