Weekend at Wilderhope Manor By Lucy Felthouse

Blurb:

When Stephanie and Jenny go to a Murder Mystery Halloween weekend at Wilderhope Manor, they're expecting fun and games. But following creaky floorboards, spooky noises and an alarming encounter in the Manor's grounds, the girls begin to wonder if there's more to Wilderhope Manor than meets the eye. As they find frequent comfort in one another's arms – and their bed – will the girls discover what's causing the bumps in the night, or will they run scared?

Excerpt:

The car trundled up the long driveway, the crunching of gravel beneath tyres the only sound as Stephanie and her girlfriend, Jenny, peered out of the windows at their surroundings.

Even at dusk the tree-lined driveway was impressive with perfectly maintained parkland, spanning for acres on either side of it. As Stephanie steered the Fiesta around a bend in the track, they both gasped. Their destination, Wilderhope Manor, had come into view and it was stunning. The Tudor style property was huge, with no less than three frontages visible from where they were. Chimneys with intricately built patterns jutted into the darkening sky, with tangles of ivy climbing parts of the manor, giving the place an appearance that was both beautiful and foreboding.

Presently, the driveway opened out into a gravelled area, which as far as Stephanie could tell, doubled as a car park for the weekend. Stephanie manoeuvred into a spot between two vehicles and killed the engine. As she turned to Jenny, she jumped, startled. Her girlfriend had leaned in close, making a scary face with her hands mimicking claws.

"Are you ready to be scared out of your wits, young lady?" Jenny rasped, wiggling her eyebrows and fingers theatrically.

Stephanie shoved her playfully, laughing. "Come on, you silly cow. It's a murder mystery weekend, not a monster hunt. There will be no ghosts, ghouls or vampires involved."

Stephanie got out of the car and closed the door. She'd already popped open the boot and started unloading their bags before Jenny appeared alongside her, pouting petulantly.

"But it's Halloween tomorrow," Jenny insisted. "Anything could happen. The veil between the living and dead will be at its thinnest, and this place is meant to be swarming with ghosts."

"If you say so, sweetheart," she replied, rolling her eyes. She was used to Jenny's crazy beliefs by now. "Grab your bags and let's get inside. It's cold. You got the tickets?"

Jenny nodded, brandishing her handbag in response. Jenny picked up her overnight bag as Stephanie slammed the boot lid before locking the car, then followed her toward the grand entrance to Wilderhope Manor.

A little while later, they were installed in their room. They'd each been handed a "Welcome Pack" by the staff member who had attended to them at Reception, which consisted of their itinerary and instructions for the weekend.

As they unpacked, she voiced one of the thoughts that had run through her head. "Have you ever noticed how places never bat an eye at two girls sharing a room, and yet, if it's two guys, they automatically assume they're gay?"

"They'll soon change their tune when they see your outfit for tonight!" Jenny replied, grinning cheekily at her. "It screams 'lesbian' with every stitch!"

"Whatever do you mean, you saucy wench? Someone with girl parts dressing as a distinguished gentleman does not a lesbian make."

"True, but I wonder what it'll do to you? Perhaps it'll work in reverse and turn you straight!"

Moonlight and Merlot

The continuing saga of the lives, loves and heartbreaks of the residents of Dion Valley, CA.

As with all the best things in life, this is for adults only.

*****

Aster was enjoying his current form. Pretending to be a human male was more fun then even he had anticipated. And so far, having the human female, Phoebe, tremble and whimper in his arms was the best part.

He kissed her, deeply, roughly, taking everything that he could. He wanted to consume her, feed on her rich, luscious psychic energy, drain her until there was nothing left and then take some more, but he restrained himself. It never paid to be glutinous. The best meals were the ones that were savored, lingered over, every morsel a unique and delectable experience to be individually relished.

What he'd experienced through her while he had been hitchhiking in the back of head was nothing compared to actually feeling warm, living flesh in his hands. The taste of her lips, the rub of fabric against his heated skin, the feel of her rapid heartbeat in her chest, the scent of arousal in the air.

This woman would fit in nicely with his plans. He already knew that she was a self-serving, vicious little creature who would go to wonderful extremes to satisfy her own needs and desires. Her sexual passion was just as fierce and hungry and greedy. She would make an excellent playmate while he roamed this realm.

Until he got bored of course.

Now, more than anything else, he wanted her to comply. To give herself over to him. Ultimately, he wanted her completely and utterly, wanted her unwavering devotion, but that could wait. For now, he just wanted her to satisfy the building tension in his groin. All the rest could come later.

He broke the kiss and looked down into her blue eyes. "Say yes," he said and a broad smile spread over his face when she did.

[Until next Tuesday…]

Six Sentence Sunday

Here are six sentences from a sexy little Halloween story I am currently working on.

Stephanie has just done a spell she found in an ancient grimoire that is supposed to summon twin demigods of legend.

She spun around, her eyes widening at the sight of the two strange men standing in her bedroom. "It worked," she gasped, surprise and excitement stealing her breath.

"Yes," the speaker said with a smirk. "It did." He put his hand on his own, bare chest and it was only then that she absorbed the fact that both men were completely naked. "I am Calen and this," he said, extending his hand toward the other man, "is Rist."

Be sure to stop by the OFFICIAL SITE for all this week's snippets!

Saturday Video – Sweeney Todd – My Friends

Sweeney Todd is absolutely, without-a-doubt one of my favorite musicals. Here Mr. Todd  (the always ultra-sexy Johnny Depp) sings a heartwarming serenade to his razors. *Sigh*

As I have mentioned, October is absolutely my favorite month of the year. Not only is it my birthday month, but it also has the best holiday ever: Halloween. And it gives me the excuse to slip in some of the best creepy, odd, scary, sexy beautiful men I can find to help celebrate the season. I hope you enjoy it. I know I will.

And here's just the beginning of what's to come…

Special Guest Giselle Renarde & GIVEAWAY!!!

I am so excited to have one very, very hot author with me today, the lovely and talented GISELLE RENARDE! She's giving away a copy of her hot ménage Anonymous so be sure to leave a comment to win!

LisaFox: So, tell us about you. Who is Giselle Renarde?

GiselleRenarde: I'm unapologetically Canadian (if that's possible—we're born with apologies on our lips here), academic-minded but with a surly smutty side.  My bio says "avid volunteer" and that's true—of all the work I've done in my life, the most satisfying has been unpaid.  I love kids and cats, hate shopping and misogyny.  That's me.

LF: You are a romance author, but do you consider yourself a romantic?

GR: I didn't begin my career as a romance author. When I started writing, it was erotica all the way, highly psychosexual, most of which involved deception and other anti-romantic plotlines.  It wasn't until I fell in love with my gorgeous geek girl that romance became interesting to me. I needed the true romance in my life before I could write it.

LF: What inspired you to start writing erotica and erotic romance?

GR: I started writing erotica on a dare, when a friend challenged me to write a sexy story and see if I could get it published.  That dare changed my life, and now I'm a career author, writing full-time and living off peanut butter and soda crackers.  It's like university all over again.

LF: You have two (TWO!!) super hot men in ANONYMOUS. Hannah's husband Nathaniel and the uber-sexy Mr. Anonymous. Who plays them in the movie?

GR: I must admit to being very out of touch with pop culture, but Mr. Anonymous I see as Antonio Banderas.  Nathaniel's a little harder (umm… not that way).  Maybe Daniel Craig.  Are my actor references really behind the times?

*

(Now that is QUITE a pair…)

LF: Who would you want to be handcuffed to for 24 hours?

GR: My girlfriend. I like her quite a lot.

LF: Do you believe in love at first sight?

GR: In a sense.  The Jungian academic in me comes out when I think about things like love at first sight.  I believe that when we fall for a person before we've actually met them, we're not falling in love with that actual individual, but rather with whatever ideal image we've projected on that other person.  We're falling in love with an idea we've created in our own minds of what we hope that person will be.  That's where the phenomenon of "he's not the man I fell in love with" comes into play—because "the man I fell in love with" never existed in the first place.  Yes, I know that sounds anti-romantic, but I'm all for romance that's psychologically apt.  I want it to ring true.

LF: Any new projects in the works?

GR: Always. I've half resolved to go back to basics.  For me, that means more queer fiction.  I've been writing a lot of ménage and straight stuff over the past year, but as a queer woman in a lesbian relationship, lesbian romance and erotica is more relevant to my life and my taste.  It doesn't sell as well as gay male or straight or ménage, but I don't want to die with all this lesbian love still inside of me.

LF: How can people find you online?

GR: The most immediate place to find me is on twitter. I'm a little tweet-crazy. http://twitter.com/GiselleRenarde  Then check out my Donuts & Desires blog. http://donutsdesires.blogspot.com After that, check out my website! http://www.wix.com/gisellerenarde/erotica

Hannah and her husband Nathaniel have always shared one particular fantasy—he wants to make love with another man, and she wants to watch.

When Hannah loses her job to a crumbling economy, she soon finds that an idle mind is indeed "the devil's playground." She latches onto the delectably naughty idea of bringing a third into the bedroom, but inviting a man they both know to join them could have far-reaching negative consequences. What they need is someone else. Someone anonymous.

After a hot night of ménage sex with a stunning escort, Hannah becomes obsessed with finding out the identity of their mystery male. Even when Nathaniel unexpectedly introduces another vibrant young man into their relationship, Hannah remains possessed by her fixation.

To what lengths will Hannah go to discover the real identity of "Mr. Anonymous?"
