Fred the Style King

Here are a couple of glimpses at the style tests I did for the new Fred book (now one-third pencilled, folks!) Just had an e-mail, not half an hour ago, about an online serialisation opportunity, to start sooner rather than later (tease, tease!). Watch this space...

I've been doing a lot of pencilling this week, starting work on illustrating a new long-form Fred the Clown story. Here are some of the characters.

I drew this to be auctioned at a fundraising dinner for my son's school. Everybody likes pigs, don't they?

FUBAR

So today I went to the FUBAR Radio station to have a chat with the lovely Mr Ray Peacock on his show. I was a bit worried I'd have nothing to say, but Ray was a fine host and made it easy for me. I presented him with this drawing at the end and watched his manly bottom lip do a little wobble. Thanks to Ray, Natalie and Adam for having me on! (If you're interested in hearing it I expect it will pop up here in the next day or two.)
