Publishers Weekly Gives Chimera a Star
This is the last book of my trilogy, the first three novels I ever wrote. I'm not sure how this makes me feel. On the one hand PW gave it, Chimera, a star and this is fantastic but on the other hand it's over and my next work of science fiction is yet to begin. Whoever you are at PW - the reviewers of Germline, Exogene, and Chimera - thank you for all the work you've done. And thanks to Rose Fox for making sure my books wound up in good hands. Try my short fiction for 99 cents
There is new fiction in my quiver. Science fiction. From the blurb for "Somewhere it Snows":
"Lev Sandakchiev is old and worn out. An indentured servant to a warrior alien race, he wonders if he'll survive his last assignment. If he does, Lev has a choice: return to Ukraine - on Earth - or stay in space as the master of his own indentured servants, forever tied to the commerce of destruction..."
Buy "Somewhere it Snows" at the following places:
Goodreads
Amazon
Barnes & Noble

The Exogene Contest is Dead. Long Live the Exogene Contest!!!
Congratulations to the four winners who entered the contest for a signed copy of Exogene; the books are no officially in the mail and should arrive at your doorstep shortly.
If you did not win - DON'T WORRY! There is another contest. This one is for US entries only, and is being run from the mothership (Orbit Books) so they are not signed copies - but awesome anyway. What are you waiting for??????

Vote for the Hugo and Campbell Awards
Don't forget: the Hugo and John W. Campbell Awards are open for their nomination period. To nominate a work, you must have been a member of the last WorldCon (Reno), or you have to be a member of the 2012 or 2013 WorldCons as of 31 Jan 2012.
I have two eligible works:
Best Novel: Germline,
Best Novelette: The Legionnaires.
I'm also eligible for the John W. Campbell Award and a full listing of my work is at: http://www.writertopia.com/profiles/T...
You don't have to nominate me, but register for WorldCon now so you can nominate someone! Each person gets to submit 5 nominations per category. More award information (and links to registering for WorldCon) can be found at: https://chicon.org/
Also, if you're a Germline fan, spread the word! Link to this post, tweet it, whatever; sometimes it's difficult to be a debut author and get the word out, so any help is appreciated.

Tor.com's Reader's Choice Awards
Help me get some buzz going for Germline? Tor is running their Reader's Choice Awards and the rules are loose, so you don't just have to nominate one work for best novel, one for short story, etc. - you can nominate multiple in each category. It's easy, too! Just post your answers on their blog.
Also, consider voting for the artist for Germline, Steve Stone!
The link is here: http://www.tor.com/blogs/2012/01/vote...

Wired dot Com Reviews Germline
From Wired: "I believe it takes real skill to lead a reader into actually seeing, smelling, and hearing (and maybe even tasting) the realities of war."

Think about clicking "like" and/or "tweet" if you take a look at the actual Wired review (it's at the very bottom of the article, under the Q&A). Or don't. :)
