Finally coming back to this discussion and speculation.
A little while ago, I watched a movie called STATE OF PLAY with Russel Crowe, Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams.

Super Bestseller Weekend Continues
How can you spot an independent author? Just watch how many times a day he/she checks his Amazon rankings. Seriously. Okay, I know I can't speak for every indie writer, but I know I'm not alone. Any other writers out there wanna chime in? Just leave a comment.
This weekend, I set the price of one of my short stories THE ACCIDENTAL HERO to$0.00 for Kindle on Amazon.com (it's already been free for nook on Barnes & Noble) and it hit #1 and #2 on two Amazon bestseller lists! In less than 72 hours, THE ACCIDENTAL HERO "sold" OVER 5400 copies and remains at the #1 and #2 bestseller ranks in the aforementioned categories.
God is good–all the time!
And perhaps not so coincidentally, BEYOND JUSTICE climbed up as high as #5 in bestselling legal thrillers this weekend and has lingered in the top 10 in this category since Friday night.

Publishers Marketplace Announcement for DARKROOM
Though the contract has been executed already and the deal sealed, somehow it doesn't feel completely official until you see the deal listed in Publishers Marketplace. So today, when the deal was announced, I did a little dance, and thanked God for His grace and provision.
