Okay, first of all, tomorrow, April 27, is the release date for Robin Hood, my novelization of the new movie of the same title that will be released on May 14. The movie is directed by Ridley Scott and stars Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett. The novel is being published by Tor Books. New Story in a New Anthology!


I have a new short story coming out late next month, and it's time to start promoting the anthology. So, here we go....
The anthology is called Dragon's Lure, and it's edited by Danielle Ackley-McPhail. It is being published by Dark Quest Books, and will be launched on May 30 at Balticon. Sadly, I can't be at the convention. That's the antho jacket art on the left. The image on the right is the illustration for my story, which is called "The Dragon Muse." Spring is Here!
Spring has come at last to the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee. The past two mornings I've taken my camera and hiked down into what's known as Shakerag Hollow where wildflowers are already blooming. An Aussie Perspective on Health Care
Amid the continued politicking on health care and new reports of Tea Party thuggery, comes this from a friend of mine who lives in Australia. One of the oft-repeated lies in the health care debate is that sure-fire applause line: "The United States has the finest health care system in the world." The only problem is, we don't. Read this.
