Staking His Claim Staking His Claim

He wants her. All of her.

NYPD sniper Matt Donovan is in Hell. Instead of driving his best friend’s little sister home from college, he’s stuck with her roommate—a fresh-faced ray-of-sunshine with a body that makes grown men weep. There’s no way he’ll allow himself to taint the little vixen, no matter how hard she tries to tempt him, so he resigns himself to the longest—and hardest—drive of his life.

Matt’s obvious attraction suits grad student Lucy Mason just fine. She had no idea her brother’s best friend was so deliciously hot. Knowing he’d never have his wicked way with his buddy’s sister, she lies about her identity and seduces him. But Matt’s no fumbling college boy. His desires run deep—and dark—and he wants to teach Lucy what wicked really means.

Matt’s demanding appetites only make Lucy want more. But when her cover’s blown, he’s furious—even as his hunger for her becomes insatiable. Matt can’t trust anyone, least of all himself. And he knows all too well that darkness always destroys the light…

This soldier’s the perfect hoax…if she doesn’t fall for him first.

Stats whiz Kayla Moriarity knows her way around numbers and algorithms. Men, on the other hand, are unsolvable equations. Now Kayla’s en route to her sister’s wedding—without the fictional boyfriend she invented for her family. Fortunately, her plane comes complete with complimentary cocktails and a ridiculously hot ex-marine in the seat beside her. And that’s all it takes for Kayla’s inhibitions to go sailing out the airlock…

Cooper Shillings has soft spot for people in trouble, but he certainly wasn’t expecting to land in it himself—and definitely not while getting naughty mid-air with a sexy southern belle. When he hears Kayla’s predicament, however, he offers his services as a stand-in boyfriend. After all, he’s heading overseas soon…and how could he refuse a little no-strings wickedness?

It’s the perfect plan. And all Kayla has to do is ensure her family falls for the ultimate bluff, without falling for it—and Cooper—in the process…

She thought she’d sworn off military men for good…

Sam Kercher is every inch a wickedly hot Marine. Tall. Sexy. Lethal. When his best friends call in a favor, Sam is forced to face an entirely new line of duty—playing nanny for their newly divorced sister and her squirming seven-month-old twin boys. If Sam can dissemble an M16 in his sleep, diaper duty should be a cakewalk…right?

Unfortunately, Operation Nanny isn’t quite that simple. Sheridan has sworn off overbearing military men, so Sam must protect her from her dirtbag ex without revealing just how much he has in common with her brothers. Or that he’s been ordered not to touch her. Ever. Problem is, Sheri’s one hell of a gorgeous woman, capable of making this hard-bodied Marine even harder. And Sam wants her bad.

Protect the girl. Care for the babies. Hide his identity. And keep his hands off. But even the most disciplined Marine has weaknesses…and Sheridan is one Sam might not be able to resist.

Tawna Fenske (author of MARINE FOR HIRE)

When I was six, my mom caught me thumbing through The Joy of Sex while watching Saturday morning cartoons.

When I was ten, I got summoned to the principal’s office for making anatomically-correct clay models of Huck Finn and Jim during a unit on Mark Twain.

When I was 22, I celebrated my English Lit degree by filling a giant black trash bag full of romance novels and dragging it everywhere until I’d read them all.

When I was 32, my cat died, my publisher canceled the line scheduled to release my debut novel, and my employer threatened to fire me for refusing to wear pantyhose—all on my birthday—and I sat down on my back deck with a glass of wine, smiled at the sunset, and thought, “if I can find the humor in this, I can find it in damn near anything.”

In a nutshell, that’s how I became an author of quirky romantic comedy.

I traveled a career path that meandered from newspaper reporter to English teacher in Venezuela to medical marketing geek to PR manager for my city’s tourism bureau.

I have a degree in English Lit, a membership in Romance Writers of America, and a habit of spilling food on my boobs. When I’m not writing, I’m usually busy sipping wine, reading, experimenting in my kitchen (either on gourmet meals or as research for one of my risqué scenes), hiking, snowshoeing, standup paddleboarding, or contorting myself into odd positions (either for yoga or for the aforementioned research).

An avid globetrotter and social media fiend, I blog at Don’t Pet Me, I’m Writing, routinely overshare on Facebook, and can be found making tasteless jokes in 140 characters or less on Twitter.

My debut romantic comedy with Sourcebooks, Making Waves, was nominated for Best Contemporary Romance in the 2011 RT Book Reviewers’ Choice Awards, and the Chicago Tribune noted, “Fenske’s wildly inventive plot and wonderfully quirky characters provide the perfect literary antidote to any romance reader’s summer reading doldrums.”

My second romantic comedy, Believe it or Not, prompted Library Journal to write, “Fenske’s sophomore effort…is another riotous trip down funny bone lane, with a detour to slightly askew goings on and a quick u-ey to out-of-this-world romance. Readers will be enchanted by this bewitching fable from a wickedly wise author.” Naturally, that prompted me to hug the reviewer until she peed.

In addition to my romantic comedies, I write novellas and novels for Entangled Publishing, as well as a series of interactive romantic capers for Coliloquy (think choose-your-own-adventure meets romantic comedy).

I currently live in Bend, Oregon with my fiancé, his offspring, and more pets than I can admit to without frightening my neighbors.

Tracey Livesay: My Process and Casting Characters for “The Tycoon’s Socialite Bride” ($50 #Giveaway)

YOU GUYS! Debut author Tracey Livesay is here to talk about her book, THE TYCOON’S SOCIALITE BRIDE, and she’s arrived with visuals AND a fabulous giveaway. Are y’all in the right place or WHAT?  Welcome, Tracey, and congratulations on becoming a published author!

Tracey Livesay: My Process and Casting my Characters

I can’t tell you how excited I am to be here today to talk about my debut novel, The Tycoon’s Socialite Bride. I read my first romance novel when I was 11 years old and it quickly became a lifelong addiction. The fact that I’m now a published romance author is a dream come true. I can barely contain myself. But I’ll try.

Okay, deep breath in, serious author face on.  ;-)

I’m a very visual person. When I read, I like to visualize the scene in my mind, like a movie. I’m also one of those readers who prefer to see people on the cover. I like to picture what the hero and heroine should look like.  I have friends who prefer images, or pec porn. You know what I mean by “pec porn,” right? No head, but a seriously manscaped chest and abs. Anyway, those friends always say, “Use your imagination.” But I don’t want to. I think of books as an author’s vision. And I’m not just saying that because I’m an author.  J  I’ve always thought that way. I want to read the story they want to share. In movie terms, it’d be like watching Titanic and imagining someone else’s face instead of Leonardo DiCaprio’s. (Please feel free to insert your favorite movie and actor here. Not everyone digs Leo.)

So before I start a novel, I “cast” my hero and heroine. Sometimes, I already have an actor or actress in mind. Other times, I’ll take the physical characteristics and research online until I find two pictures that perfectly capture my characters. I make a nice mash-up and then save it to my computer as my desktop background. That way, they’re always on my mind.

For this book, I based Marcus off the actor Chad Connell. Since I don’t want to get Sarah in trouble J here’s a link to his IMDb page. For Pamela, I immediately thought of Salli Richardson-Whitfield, best known from the TV show Eureka. Here’s a link to her IMDb page. Imagining the two of them together made writing this book a pleasure.

What about you? Do you like to know who the author casts in her story or do you prefer to use your own imagination? Tell me why. Maybe you can convert me. ;-)

Pamela will do anything to save her favorite cause, even agree to a marriage of convenience. The altruistic “it-girl” isn’t worried about the pretend passion with Marcus turning real; she’s sworn off powerful, driven men who use her for her family’s connections.

So she’ll deny the way her pulse races with one look from his crystalline blue eyes. And he’ll ignore the way his body throbs with each kiss from her full lips. Because there’s no way he’ll lose his blue-collar heart to the blue-blooded beauty.

$50 #Giveaway: Third Daughter (The Dharian Affairs #1) by Susan Kaye Quinn

Third daughterThird Daughter by Susan Kaye Quinn

Skyships, saber duels, and lots of royal intrigue… and, of course, kissing.

The Third Daughter of the Queen wants her birthday to arrive so she’ll be free to marry for love, but rumors of a new flying weapon may force her to accept a barbarian prince’s proposal for a peace-brokering marriage. Desperate to marry the charming courtesan she loves, Aniri agrees to the prince’s proposal as a subterfuge in order to spy on him, find the weapon, and hopefully avoid both war and an arranged marriage to a man she does not love.

Third Daughter is the first book in the The Dharian Affairs Trilogy (Third Daughter, Second Daughter, First Daughter). This steampunk-goes-to-Bollywood (Bollypunk!) romance that takes place in an east-Indian-flavored alternate world filled with skyships, saber duels, and lots of royal intrigue. And, of course, kissing.

From the author of the bestselling Mindjack Trilogy, The Dharian Affairs is a new series filled with equal doses of action-adventure and romance, meant to appeal to fans of Mindjack.

NOMINATED for the Illinois Librarian’s “Soon to be Famous Author Project” wherein librarians hope to discover local authors whose “work will jump off the page for readers.”

“Third Daughter is vividly breathtaking. Quinn delivers royal intrigue, exotic locations, and sweeping romance. Not to be missed!” – Pavarti K. Tyler, author of Shadow on the Wall

“Susan Kaye Quinn writes characters that leap off the page… Incredibly well written, the vivid setting was crisp in my mind… As the plot raced on, I was cursing real life for not letting me just sit glued to my kindle, punching the touch screen to get to the next page.” – Tiffany on Goodreads

Excerpt

A lone two-wheeled surrey ambled out of the shadows of the Samirian embassy and headed toward her dark corner of the Queen’s estate. Aniri held her breath and silently cursed the full two-moon night. If the carriage came much closer, the occupants would surely see her clinging to the side of the palace like a spider on her thread.

The six-hooved beast pulling the surrey slowed as it neared the giant stone statue of Devkasera. The mother goddess of ancient Dharia loomed larger-than-life, threatening the carriage with a sword and a scroll—the powers of destruction and creation—clasped in two of her six hands. The Queen loved the ancient traditions, so the goddess held a place of respect in the middle of the palace lawns. Aniri preferred the clean streets and steam-driven inventions of modern Dharia to the unwashed feet and mystic religion of her country’s past, but that didn’t stop her from sending a silent prayer to Devkasera—for invisibility for herself or perhaps a sudden loss of sight by the persons in the carriage.

Genre: Historical Romance

The worst betrayals come from within.

After a night of passion with her betrothed, Sir Geoffrey Longford, Lady Alyse de Courcy is eagerly looking forward to her wedding.  But when Geoffrey is forced to marry another, a heartbroken and possibly pregnant Alyse finds herself in her own private hell. She must either gamble with her reputation or marry someone she does not love.

A reputed connoisseur of women, Thomas, Lord Braeton, has dallied with many ladies of King Edward’s court, although he has favored none.  However, as Geoffrey’s best friend, Thomas has sworn to serve and protect Alyse, an oath now sorely tested when he agrees to marry her—in name only—to guard her reputation. Yet, as they grow closer, and Thomas discovers Alyse’s sweet but spirited nature, he comes to desire a marriage in truth.  Can he overcome her memory of Geoffrey or is Thomas doomed to burn with passion for a woman he can never possess?

If you would like to purchase the first part of the trilogy, Betrothal, it is available at Amazon  Smashwords

Betrayal1 Excerpt

“Alyse, my sweet I would speak with you about a matter that concerns you, and your future.”

Alyse met his gaze, and a dread settled over her heart. The events of the past week had convinced her that her best hope for the future was to dedicate herself in service to Princess Joanna. No other possible life could be contemplated. She supposed her father might try to arrange a marriage for her in Spain, but the idea appalled her. Thought of any man other than Geoffrey touching her made her stomach heave and her breath quicken in horror.

“My future, Thomas? My future lies in Spain with Her Highness.”

“Aye, lady. That I well know. The princess is adamant that you accompany her and apparently will not relent on that account,” he said ruefully.

“Nor would I wish her to. Her Highness has been most gracious and kind to me these past days. I would not let her go so far from home to meet her husband without my aid and companionship, unless ’twas by her choice.” She frowned at him, trying to understand the import of his words. “You speak sadly, Thomas, of my leaving?”

“Aye, my lady. The thought of not being able to avail myself of the pleasure of your company each day has vexed me sorely.”

Alyse smiled at him, her heart welling with affection. “You are a true friend, Thomas.” She placed a light hand on his arm and squeezed gently. “I shall miss you keenly as well. You have been my rock to cling to these many unhappy days. No one has been more kind or solicitous of my poor feelings. Taking my leave of you will be nigh as grievous to me as…as…” She could not keep the tears from her eyes.

Thomas deliberately took her hand. “My lady, there is a way this parting can be thwarted.” He gazed into her eyes, his face resolute. “Alyse, if you consent, I would be honored to have you for my wife.”

Outrage struck like a lightning bolt to the heart. Her body tensed, blood drained from her face, and she started to her feet.

Thomas held onto her hand and went down on his knee. “My lady…”

She stared at the handsome face, furious, wondering just how far into hell she had to go before reaching its icy core.

Caught between the clash of two powerful men, a furious Willa refuses to concede her independence to save her reputation. But will she compromise her heart?

My Review

Oh, Willa. Hart. You guys rock so hard. Seriously. Now, before this gets awkward (too late?) let me just say COMPROMISING WILLA was one of those books that grabbed me from page one. And before I caught my breath, Ms. Quincy threw in a slight twist that told me I was in for one heck of a ride.

She didn’t disappoint.

COMPROMISING WILLA is not just beautifully written, but smart and dimensional. Willa is splendidly quick with her tongue, leading to positively delicious banter between her and the yummy Duke of Hartwell, whose absence has kept him free of the gossip that has irreparably damaged Willa’s, erm, marketability. Ruined woman? Pshaw! Okay, so maybe by society’s standards, but fortunately Hart doesn’t quite see it that way. The tension between Willa and Hart is smokin’ hot, and the author is a master of infusing that smexiness into every exchange. Somehow these two buck tradition while remaining true to the period, leading to a delightfully fresh story that positively immerses the reader in 1805 England. There’s very little about the plot that could be marked as predictable, and as intricate as some of the pieces, they all came together perfectly at the end. (I’m looking at you, Augustus. Dude was PWNED!)

If you love historical romance, grab this one. If you don’t, grab this one anyway. You will fall in love!

Excerpt

Willa did not appear surprised to find herself sitting next to Hartwell at supper. Nor did she seem to mind.

“I find I have the best seat at the table,” he said as they took their places.

“Are you certain the air won’t be too brisk for you?”

He grinned. “Why Lady Wilhelmina, in your own Arctic way, I do believe you are flirting with me.”

“You are our guest,” she answered in smooth tones. “Pray don’t mistake polite discourse for something that it is not.”

“Ouch.” He touched his heart in dramatic fashion. Sitting next to her, he’d have no need of dessert. She was like a Gunter’s lemon ice—tangy, tart, and delectably frosty.

She curved those pillowed lips into a smile, a reluctant one, but he still counted that a victory. “Surely you are not so easily wounded, Your Grace.”

“Actually, as a second son, I have heard far worse. One is not as popular when he is not in line to inherit a dukedom, or at least a vast fortune. As fate would have it, I am now in possession of both.”

“Clearly modesty is not something you are in possession of.”

Hart gave a mischievous smile. “Usually a title and deep pockets are sufficient to attract the attention of a lovely creature such as yourself.” He sipped his wine. “Otherwise, I shall have to win you over with my equally deep reservoirs of charm and good looks.”

Her closed mouth wobbled with laughter until she managed to wrangle it into submission. “I should like to know when you decide to begin employing those qualities.”

Hart shot her a surprised look. She was teasing him again. Promising. He softened his tone. “Oh, believe me, my lady, I intend to make you well aware of my charms.”

Falling for her Soldier Banner 450 x 169

Ophelia London: Top Ten Books

Hey there. I’m Ophelia London, author of the shiny-new “Falling for her Soldier,” and I’m cray-cray about love stories. So I’ve decided to take this opportunity to talk about my favorites books with romantic hooks. *rubs hands together* Let’s get started!

“Pride & Prejudice” by Jane Austen

What I love: Two words: Mr. Darcy. We might as well get this out of the way: I love P&P. I read it as a teenager and never really got over it. Not only is the story timeless, but the traditions and manners and charm Austen’s paints of Regency England makes me sob for a time machine.

 “Outlander” by Diane Gabalon

What I love: Speaking of time machines… Even if this wasn’t a “time travel” book—which turns a surprising number of people off before they’ve even met sexy Jamie Fraser—(swoon!), it’s adventurous, romantic and has all the feels. So excited it’s finally coming to TV.

“What the Lady Wants” by Jennifer Crusie

What I love: This is a fabulous bait-and-switch story…a trope that is near and dear to my heart, as “Falling for her Solider” is another b-&-s. There’s something about two people who—despite misunderstandings and mistaken identities piled all over each other—still fall head over heels in love.

“Anybody Out There?” by Marian Keyes

What I love: Marian Keyes is the master at taking tragic subjects and adding warm and wet-my-pants humor. Her talent never ceases to amaze me. And if you’re not following her on Twitter, start now!

“Austenland” by Shannon Hale

What I love: This book is about a woman who is obsessed with Pride & Prejudice; more specifically, the 1994 BBC version of P&P staring Colin Firth. I mean, hello?

“Losing It” by Cora Carmack

What I love: The last chapter and epilogue still make me giggle and stare off into space. I’m so into epilogues that I knew I had to make one for “Falling for her Solider,” especially since it’s the last book in my Perfect Kisses series. I love tidy wrap-ups to swoony stories.

“Anna & the French Kiss” by Stephanie Perkins

What I love: Good golly, do I love a great YA. Maybe it was my own boring high school experience that made me live vicariously though this lucky high school senior who spends her senior year in Paris only to fall in love with a dreamy boy with an accent.

“I’ve Got Your Number” by Sophie Kinsella

What I love: Who knew a page of “xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx” could make one so giggly?

“Much Ado About Nothing” by William Shakespeare

What I love: Enemies-to-Lovers has always been my favorite type of storyline, and the Bard’s rom-com from circa 1599 hits it out of the park.

“I do love nothing in the world so well as you—is not that strange?”

“Bridget Jones’s Diary” by Helen Fielding

What I love: Honestly, I can’t say enough about this book. It was my first proper P&P retell and done so perfectly. Who didn’t melt when dreamy Mark Darcy told a mortified Bridget that he likes her just as she is?

How do you like your romances? Bait-and-Switchy or Enemies-to-Lovers?

Book Description

She fell for the nice guy, but will she fall for the real guy?

Ex-ballerina Ellie Bell has twenty-four days left until her self-imposed man-less year is up. No more falling for the wrong kind of guy—charming, sexy, bad. Why can’t she find someone sweet like Charlie Johansson, her soldier pen pal? His e-mails meant the world to her, and she can’t stop thinking about him…until she meets Hunter, whose muscles and cocky smile threaten to have her relapsing.

Before Charlie “Big Game Hunter” Johansson’s last tour of duty, he’d gone through women like crazy. But after connecting on a real, emotional level via letters with his best friend’s sister, Charlie’s ready for a relationship—with Ellie Bell.

But then her brother introduces him as Hunter. Proving he’s no longer a player by becoming Ellie’s dance partner for an Army benefit seems like it could convince both siblings he’s changed, but the harder he falls for Ellie, the harder it is to come clean. Can he convince her to fall for the real him before it’s too late?

Falling for her Soldier Button 300 x 225 Excerpt

She moved to the mirror, her eyes giving him a sly up-down before she turned to her reflection, combing her fingers through her long hair.

“Before we begin…” she added. But Charlie was doing his own up-down, his gaze getting hung up where her bodysuit curved in at the waist. “I guess I need to know your previous experiences.”

Charlie glanced at her face in the mirror, doing a double take. “E-experiences?”

“Yeah.” She was adjusting the skinny strap of her top. “Do you want to show me?”

His jaw went slack as he stared at her reflection. “You…want me to…”

“Or you can tell me about it. I need to know.”

He shook his head, incredulous, but when her steady gaze didn’t waver, he exhaled a groan of confused surrender. “Well, uh, okay.” He rubbed his chin. “My first time was when I was fifteen, she was seventeen, it was after a football game in the—”

The words stopped mid-sentence when Ellie whirled around.

“Your experience with dancing.”

Susan C. Muller: Procrastination and “Voodoo on Bayou Lafonte”

You guys, this is so funny. Just this week, I finally mailed a couple of packages I’ve had in plain sight for MONTHS. Ms. Muller doesn’t know it, but we’ve just bonded, LOL! And o n that note, I hope you will all find a similar connection as you get to know her and VOODOO ON BAYOU LAFONTE.

Voodoo On Bayou LaFonte Banner 450 x 169

Susan C. Muller: On Procrastination

Have you ever had something you needed to do but kept putting off until it was embarrassing? It doesn’t have to be something big, just a chore that stares you in the face every day.

I’ve had two packages I needed to mail for almost six months.

They were on my kitchen table for a long time, but I got tired of seeing them so I moved them to the window sill and then to the top of my dryer. I still saw them most times I went out the back door, but they were easier to ignore.

I spent more time moving them and worrying about what to do than it would have taken me just to do the job. Well, maybe not, the way things turned out.

It wasn’t that I didn’t want to mail them. But the grocery stores don’t give you paper sacks anymore and I didn’t know what to wrap them in. And I wasn’t sure who each one went to so I’d have to open all the packaging and look for the name.

Then I’d have to find the address list and look that up. Besides, I didn’t have any of that good packing tape and regular tape won’t work.

One day my daughter stopped by and I asked her help. She was happy to oblige and said she had just the thing to wrap them in: a paper shopping bag. We spread everything on the table and started cutting, but the bag wasn’t quite long enough. No problem, we cut an extra piece off the end to tape over the missing area.

When I brought up the problem of the tape, she had a solution. She had a roll of packing tape. Unfortunately, the tape wasn’t in one of those dispensers. We both broke fingernails searching for the end of the tape.

This tape had been rolling around in the back of her van for a couple of years. I don’t know if it melted or rotted, but each time we tried to pull some off, it broke. Sometimes, a long, thin strip would split off one edge and other times the torn part would be in the middle of the roll.

We finally got the first box wrapped, only to discover that we had the bag with the store name facing out. We had to take it apart and start over. Each time we tried to tape something the packing tape would curl up on itself, leaving a sticky wad.

When we finished, we had what looked like something wrapped by a near-sighted two year-old. This from two grown women who, between them, had wrapped hundreds, if not thousands, of birthday and Christmas presents.

My daughter smiled at me and said, “There. All you need to do now is put your return address on them.”

I stared at the two pathetic looking packages. “Do I have to use my own name? Can I make one up?”

Avoiding something you don’t want to do doesn’t make it any easier, just harder to face. In Voodoo on Bayou Lafonte, Remy and Gabby have avoided talking about their problems for fifteen years. Think of all the time together they lost by being stubborn.

What about you. Do you procrastinate when an unpleasant chore faces you, or do you jump right in to get it over with?

About the Author

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m a fourth generation Texan and I attended Stephen F. Austin State University where I majored in Business Administration, but took creative writing classes on the side because that’s where my heart was.

I have always loved reading and if it’s true that God doesn’t subtract the hours you spend reading from your life span, then I should pass the century mark with flying colors. I first tried my hand at writing when I was eleven, but the sun was shining and I had a new bike so that effort was doomed to failure.

I didn’t try writing again until I was well into my sixties. People ask me why I took it up then and my answer is simple, because my husband retired. If you don’t understand, just wait, you will.

My first novel, The Secrets on Forest Bend, won several awards. After that, I was hooked.

I’ve been blessed with two great kids and four grandkids. My late husband and I loved to travel and we saw much of the world. Kenya, New Zealand, and the Galapagos Islands are a few of my favorite places. After he passed, I thought my traveling days were over, yet I’ve since been to Argentina, Brazil, and Venezuela.

I live in Spring, Texas where I currently serve as president of the Northwest Houston chapter of RWA and volunteer at a local hospital. I also enjoy speaking to book clubs and writers groups.

She’s also his partner’s sister—and so totally off limits. Working on the Fall Festival together, they agree to a truce and become friends. But the more time Connor spends with Faith, the more he’s willing to risk the wrath of her brother. If he could only convince her to take a risk on him, too.

About the Author

Cindi Madsen sits at her computer every chance she gets, plotting revising, and falling in love with her characters. Sometimes it makes her a crazy person. Without it, she’d be even crazier. She has way too many shoes, but can always find a reason to buy a new pretty pair, especially if they’re sparkly, colorful, or super tall. She loves music, dancing, and wishes summer lasted all year long.

She lives in Colorado (where summer is most definitely NOT all year long) with her husband and three children. She is the author of YA novels All the Broken Pieces and Demons of the Sun, adult contemporary romances Falling for Her Fiancé and Act Like You love Me, and the women’s fiction novel Cinderella Screwed Me Over.
